The quiet location, secluded right on the edge of the forest, is perfect for recreation/dog walks/relaxation/hiking/mountain biking/barbecuing/campfire/alpacas/private spring water/private bees. In the garden there is a spacious garden house, which we also make available to our guests by arrangement.

Das Haus ist in besonderer Bauweise auf Stahlstelzen in einen steilen Hang gebaut und bietet einen tollen Ausblick auf den Ort und die Umgebung. Als besonderes Highlight bietet Inge ihren Gästen einen beheizten Containerpool (April bis Mitte Oktober). In der Zwischenzeit sorgt neben dem Kaminofen auch die kleine Fasssauna für gemütliche Stunden zu zweit.

Nearby are the Schlosspark Rauischholzhausen and the historic university town of Marburg (12 km). Car is recommended for maximum flexibility. A charging station for electric cars (11kW) is available and can be used on request (for a fee). The overnight price includes final cleaning.

Our "walnut hut" is located near the Listertalsperre on our property at a small pond. The cottage is newly renovated in 2021 and can be lived in all year round. Nature lovers will find numerous hiking trails, sports enthusiasts offers such as horseback riding at the in-house riding facility, water sports at the Listertalsperre, climbing or skiing.
