Great in the countryside, but absolutely necessary to have a bicycle, car or scooter, because there is no shop in the village, only about 7 km away. But the "invitation" in Zempow is the rescue for small things. Always google the opening hours beforehand, also from the Edeka in Flecken Zechlin. Petra and family are very nice and helpful! We had a very comfortable stay at Cornelia's place with our puppy. Cornelia was careful with directions to the place and information about the area. The apartment was cosy and clean, and we felt welcome. I can definitely recommend her place for anyone visiting the town.

We had only checked in for one night to celebrate a birthday. Slightly different than expected from the photo of the house, the house is located in the village and on the left and right are more houses. Behind the house is the old farm, with chickens , rabbit goats and a pretty aviary. In the summer you can also stay in the garden and eat outside at tables with benches. For an outdoor coffee, the weather was just as good. We were welcomed so warmly that we immediately felt at home. Petra is a very nice hostess. Arrival and departure were handled very accommodating, even the day before us was blocked to allow an earlier arrival. There was even a delicious birthday cake from Petra. There were also tips for things to do. The Heiligengrabe monastery is very worthwhile. Wittstock is also worth a visit. However, we could not explore much more in the short time. It was a very nice short stay.
