The cities of Hamburg and Kiel are about 1 hour away and can be reached quickly via the A7. The train station in Wrist is about 5 km from our property, good bus connection or taxi. The rural quiet location is ideal for a break, bike tours and inline skating, but also offers a good starting point for trips to the North and Baltic Sea or to Hamburg, Kiel and Glückstadt.

The Horster ElbAlm

My ElbAlm stands for real picture book country life. Nearby there are cows, chickens, donkeys and fields. And the tranquility, too, of course. Why ElbAlm? The Elbe and the dike can be reached in 15-20 minutes by car. Here you can expect a real beach and a delicious snack and suitable refreshment is available here in summer. Hamburg is also 30 minutes away. In about 3 km away is the Horster train stop. Here is a parking lot and bicycle parking.

You will stay in Bad Bramstedt (between the Baltic Sea and the North Sea and between Hamburg and Kiel). Shopping and restaurants are within walking distance. The apartment was completely renovated in March 2023. A private parking space is at your disposal for free. The apartment has a double bedroom 180cm, a living room with sofa bed 120cm, a kitchen and a bathroom. Rental for 3 adults (1 double bed, 1 sofa bed) or family with 2 adults and 2 children.

Shepherd's wagon "Lotta"

"Lotta" is a typical shepherd's wagon without electricity and running water. "Here you get the opportunity to relax from media, internet and smartphone!" Of course, "Lotta" has enough water to wash and cook. Cooking is done over a wood stove. In the summer it's unfortunately quite warm, so the good "Lotta" gets a solar oven. This can be used in sunshine even in winter. (Briefing is attached) "Lotta" stands on our sheep pasture (approx. 2 ha).
