We really enjoyed our stay at Robert and Lorraine's house. The flat is right opposite the beach which is amazing. The flat was very clean. Beds were comfortable. There were plenty of clean towels which was very handy. overall a very positive experience.

First time visiting Colchester and we couldn’t have picked a better place to stay! Home from home and the location was absolutely perfect, literally right next to the castle park and less than a 5 minute walk to the castle and high street. Peaceful and super clean. Reilly was the perfect host. Friendly, responsive and helpful. Kitchen had everything we needed to dine in. Bed was comfy and linen was clean. The bathroom was also spotless! Thank you for having us and we will definitely be returning. 5 star 🌟 stay x

Beautiful apartment with everything you could need as the perfect home from home option. It was wonderfully laid out when we arrived, with milk in the fridge, and some welcome snacks on arrival. It was easy to get to slap bang in the centre of everything. Will definitely aim to stay here again next time we visit our daughter in Colchester.

The property definitely ticked all the boxes for us. We were staying for a wedding in the village. Having the pub across the road was a bonus as we didn’t really want to cater for ourselves other than breakfast and the church was only 200m away. The beds were all very comfortable and the en-suite bathrooms most convenient. Two had good showers and the third a bath with a bath/shower mixer tap. We didn’t need the fourth bedroom but had we done, although it didn’t have an en-suite bathroom, it did have exclusive night time use of a cloakroom next door to it. It was positioned away from all the other bedrooms so it was as good as being en-suite for night time use and of course there were still three bathrooms to use for showering or bathing, so not really a game changer if four beds were needed.

We had a wonderful stay at this b'n'b. Debbie added those small extra touches that many people don't bother with and yet are so helpful! The space was well-equipped with everything you need. The gift of very nice cookies and fruit juice was much appreciated. Even milk in the fridge. It was clean and the decor carefully thought about. We loved the enclosed cottage garden solely for our use. The annexe and tge garden were lovely peaceful places to sit and be. We highly recommend it.

We had an absolutely wonderful family weekend in Victoria’s beautiful farmhouse. There was everything we needed and the kitchen was very well equipped. All the bedrooms were great and the garden is beautiful - the children loved the trampoline! We also loved having the cats around - very friendly! Thank you so much. We had a great time!

Jasmine cottage was a most wonderful place to stay! Shelly's attention to detail was much appreciated and it's clear to see why she is a superhost! We had the most wonderful time staying at The Little Barn in Topcroft. It is a well kept and comfortable cottage, with all the amenities you could want. We loved the location as it is tucked out of the way of the busiest areas but still well connected to the coast and towns/cities for trips out. Hannah is a superb host who will go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and settled (providing us with some delicious home made apple juice too!). We will definitely be returning and would recommend!

We had a great stay, the house was stocked with everything we could need. Love the extra touches of brownie/bread/milk etc left for us. Great for little children too, use of cot, high chair and baby cutlery provided was much appreciated! Enclosed garden and private driveway are a bonus as well. We have had a wonderful stay at Hermione's place. Everything was easy to find and in walking distance. It was cosy and warm.

We needed a base in Melton for a long weekend to attend a wedding. This accommodation was perfect for us both, and our two grown up ‘children’. The host gave clear instructions, and it was easy to find. It had everything listed, and more. Two en-suite bathrooms were perfect for us, and we could walk to the church in under 10 minutes. There was plenty of off road private parking too. The loveliest part was the warmth of welcome - a bottle of fizz, milk in the fridge, and nice biscuits. Julia gave us time to settle in and then came over to check we had all we needed. She was extremely friendly, kind and helpful and also gave us a flexible check-out time. We would strongly recommend this lovely coach house for a beautiful Suffolk get-away.

Our first Airbnb experience, and we were very impressed. We had a gig nearby, and our usual hotel choice was full. Rather than opt for a room in a pub, we decide to give Airbnb a go. The booking experience was excellent and very easy; communication was timely and gave clear guidance; check in was super easy, with parking extremely close. Once inside, the flat was spacious, spotless and perfectly equipped. We only stayed for one night, but you'd be happy here for weeks!

A perfect place to stay in Bury St Edmunds. So handy to walk around the town and see the shops and the Abbey. The interior has a great theme with its colours and fittings. Super comfortable bed and well equipped kitchen. Sean even provided for our parking needs.

Had a great few days’ stay in Annetta’s house – loved the character of the place and surrounding gardens. The accommodation was very clean, comfortable and spacious. Annetta is extremely friendly and helpful and her contact beforehand was very good. Nice touches include the hot tub and breakfast bits in the fridge. This is an ideal location to relax and explore the coast and inland. I would definitely recommend and intend to return to explore more of the area. Many thanks!

Great weekend in Colchester visiting friends the flat itself is very clean and tidy I found it very quiet and peaceful in the evenings close to a large supermarket about 10 minutes drive from the town centre and about 30 minutes from the beach I would happily stay here again

Four of us had a very pleasant stay at Lesley's place. Very cosy and well equipped and great location for us as we continued to walk the Icknield Way. The setting of the pub is very attractive and Lesley and her husband were very welcoming. Definitely recommend.
