❤️Welcome to the KaRo vacation home! Originally built as a cattle barn, the bungalow today is a spacious 55 square meters in the country house style with 2 rooms! The bedroom is equipped with an upholstered bed 180 × 200 cm, a large wardrobe and chest of drawers. It is pleasantly warm in the bathroom with underfloor heating. You can enjoy comfort with the large, walk-in shower. The kitchen is fully equipped. There is a small dining area for 2. In the living room you will find a large dining table.

Ein Freibad gibt es im Nahegelegenen Geesthacht oder Lauenburg sowie einen Badesee in Müssen. Der nahe gelegene Sachsenwald lädt zu ausgedehnten Spaziergängen ein.

The house is located in the middle of Schierensee, an idyllic village with about 400 inhabitants in the Westensee Nature Park. Here you are surrounded by a magnificent landscape, ideally suited for long hikes and bike tours. At the lake there is a swimming area with a great kiosk cafe, which is run with a lot of love and passion. Guests can indulge in culinary delights at Gasthof La Famiglia. A little secluded from the village, there is a large organic farm with a farm shop and cafe.

The bungalow is in a quiet location - it is only about 850 m to the pier and the Baltic Sea beach. It has a cozy living-kitchen area with fireplace, sitting area, smart TV, bedroom., shower/toilet, two terraces, free Wi-Fi, washing machine and car parking space. The kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher. Bed linen can be booked on request for an additional fee - then the beds are made up on arrival. The house lies not far from the Nord-Ostseekanal. We have a terrace and a garden to spend time and make breakfast in open air, if the wheather allows it :-) It's available for groups, families and cyclists. Till now the bathroom only can be reached through the doublebed-room. We're searching for another solution. In 125 qm you have much space. Shops for daily needs are nearby. And there are many possibilties for day trips.

Cycling between the Altes Land and Hamburg

With a great passion for mid-century style and bicycles of all kinds, we have decorated our 1970s bungalow. From here you can easily explore and experience the old country with Hamburg, but also Buxtehude, Stade and the Elbe up to Cuxhaven. But of course, the house is just as suitable as a temporary home office (Airbus near Stade + Finkenwerder) or for just a relaxing time out in the countryside.
