There had been a hick up with the check in at first, but the host was really responsive and very helpful. It didn’t take long to get into the bungalow. If the website is updated with better check in instructions than this place is all you need to calm your mind 😊

everything was great. Communication with the manager of the house on site was super straightforward. The house is in a quiet residential area, but you can get anywhere quickly by car.

The log cabin is very cozy and invites you to stay. Our kids loved it too.

We had a great time in Rieder/Ballenstedt. Michael is a great landlord who instructed us. The house is just great !! Super clean, new very comfortable mattresses, nicely decorated and just very cozy. A beautiful view of the valley, we had great sunsets and mega views of the starry sky. The area invites you to hikes and bike rides. Just below the house, an old railway line has been converted into a bike path. So the tourist tax is well laid out 👍🏻 What didn't work quite so well was the communication with the management company Belvilla. We arrived with several people and dog at different times. Unfortunately, Belvilla was not able to count that apart, despite the email and phone call. Luckily, Michael took care of that for us. We will be happy to come back!

It is a lovely little apartment. Clean and a good starting point for hikes. However, nothing can be done without a car. A beautiful garden and a cozy terrace invite you to grill and relax. We will be back.

Very quiet and peaceful place. It’s the last house in the street and has a great view over the fields and forest. We enjoyed our stay very much. The town is quite small so for groceries you need to go nearby towns therefore having a car is almost essential. Overall we had a pleasant stay and would really recommend.

The apartment is superbly equipped and located. The hosts were great – they live in the house behind the property, and when there was a short problem with the toilet flush, it turned out that Rainer had even ordered a spare part (which was still in delivery), but could bridge the problem first. For the upper apartment, you should keep in mind that the bed in the attic is not acoustically or otherwise separated from the room, and is directly above the bedroom, so that in the lower bed you notice any movement (and light) from the attic bed. Wasn't a problem for us as we lived there as a family – just a heads up. For this, we enjoyed the large, beautiful, bright living and cooking area of the upper apartment very much, where there is also enough space for 5-6 people for cooking, eating, board games and recreation.
