Very friendly host and living close helps , gave us some tips for our walking etc , clean accommodation and just right for a few days break

Fantasy House is tucked away yet right in the heart of Steyning so it felt private and convenient. Although people are often walking past the property, it is set back far enough from the pathway to still feel private. The High Street and bus stop are within a minute’s walk away. You can drive up the pathway to unload and load your car. I had to use paid parking during my stay. There is a car park across the road with a two hour parking limit and another by Steyning Health Centre with a four hour limit. Nick surpassed my expectations by how quickly he responded to my messages. Fantasy House is warm, welcoming and cosy. Note that there is no freezer box in the fridge so don’t turn up with a big tub of ice cream, which is what my daughter did! Also, close the bathroom door when showering and close it quickly when leaving the bathroom to avoid setting off the alarm. Another lesson courtesy of my daughter! Hoping to return this year, which speaks volumes about how much we enjoyed our stay.

Thanks to Wendy and Barry for a lovely stay at The Hideaway. It is a delightful little place and they have thought of every practical thing needed for a comfortable stay, including some welcome treats! We have no hesitation in recommending The Hideaway for a break in Hampshire.

Great location which is at the end of harbour road and very peaceful. View is great and nature reserve is really pretty. All amenities were exactly as described. All the vintage games consoles et. Makes the place very unique and quirky. 1 minute walk to the beach which is also quite unique in the way it has been shaped by the sea. Shops 10 minutes walk. Pubs 20 minutes walk.

Had a lovely couple of nights at this property. The location is perfect, right by the beach. Walking distance to the shops. Parking on the drive for a smaller car but plenty of parking in the surrounding roads (paid but reasonable). Stones throw from the day entrance to Butlin’s. The flat itself is lovely and comfortable, no gas but lots of heaters and I think aircon. The bed is very high but comfortable. Check-in/out was very easy. Would definitely recommend this property!

Susan’s place is so lovely and cozy and has a great view. My husband, who is from the UK, and I traveled to Findon for a wedding and this was the perfect place. Susan was very accommodating and responsive. We’ll definitely be back!

We had a lovely stay at the studio, the place is lovely, it is in a great location, within walking distance from everything. It is equipped with the basics which you need for your stay. Just to note the studio states it is adjoined to the owners home, which is not a problem, but the studio is actually under the owners home, so some noise can be heard from above.

This is a great flat, large, quiet, in a beautiful setting, and only about 30 seconds' walk from the cafe in the cloisters at the cathedral, where we went for breakfast. We would love to come back.

Such a great flat. We loved the location (a few steps from the beachfront and surrounded by useful shops) and having outside space was a real bonus. The flat is beautifully decorated with modern finishes and the kitchen and bathroom were spotless.

The Coach Barn is small but perfectly formed! We stayed there while visiting family in the area, and enjoyed the peace and tranquility. The place was spotless, and had everything you might need. With four of us staying, the sofa bed was pre-made up when we arrived (avoiding a post-travel argument with the other half about how to get the bed out!). It was very warm, but as an upstairs flat in a mini heatwave, that was expected! We flung all the windows open, and the gated rural location allowed us some security to have them open all night for ventilation. It's a great little place, and we would be happy to visit again.

This is the best location on the island. Perfect view over the Esplanade and the sea but still peaceful and private. Near to great coast walks and the town centre. Comfy beds, plenty of comfortable sofas and chairs, great outdoor furniture on the balcony, well equipped kitchen and lovely bathrooms. Dawn was friendly and responsive. Couldn’t fault it! A wonderful place in every way.

We had a lovely weekend at Jackie and Margo’s , it was spotless and perfect for us as a family of 4. We were welcomed with a lovely card and bottle of wine. Lovely views and sitting on the balcony listening to the sea. We will be back next year!

Excellent host - Dean was welcoming and friendly and went out of his way to make it a lovely stay. The flat was really comfortable, well kitted out and beautifully decorated, we really enjoyed the hot tub! 2 mins walk to the sea and a lovely walk along the seafront into Brighton which took about 10 minutes. We had a great time - would happily recommend.

Charlotte was a fantastic host. The bottle of bubbly on arrival was a lovely touch too. We are so lucky to have had the opportunity to stay in Charlotte's interesting and well loved home. The hot tub and roll top bath provided a great way to relax after visiting the beach and town. As artists the artwork on display made for great conversation points too. We feel inspired. Xx

We really enjoyed our stay, the access to the sister hotel’s facilities including indoor and outdoor pools was fabulous and it was very well situated between the beach and the high street right next to the beautiful chine. Loved the Isle with its beautiful botanical gardens, beaches and dinosaur fossils to explore!

What a lovely place and lovely hosts. The bed was so comfortable we slept more than usual, unless it was the lovely relaxing hot tub that tired us. The welcome food and treats and wine was very generous and very welcome. It was a very quiet and relaxing area. We stayed for 6 nights and would highly recommended

Great location, easy check in and perfect for a short stay

Melanie went above and beyond to make our experience truly special. The house itself is stunning – spotlessly clean and equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing and comfortable stay. What a wonderful stay, there was lots of instructions so you know exactly how to use everything. The kitchen was well equipped and there was instructions on how to use the microwave/ oven. The location was brilliant, lots of things to do around and a quick walk to the beach. The host has really thought of everything. Highly recommend.
