Absolutely fantastic stay, the host is friendly and really helpful, the area is beautiful and a town 5 minutes down the road

Exactly what wee were looking for in a last minute weekend away. Peaceful setting but only a few minutes from Lancaster and the motorway. On arrival everything was ready for us to drive in, drop our bags off and put our feet up. Would definitely recommend for anyone wanting access to the lake district without costing a fortune and being caught up in the traffic. Will use again, if available, for our next visit.

We loved it so much the first time we visited back in 2020, that we came back. And just like then, it was fantastic. The cottage is absolutely lovely, the whole farm is amazing, and it is just so nice to walk around, see the cows, absorb the nature. Topping it all: Ailse and "Farmer Phillip", as our kids kept calling him. they just make you feel so welcomed, like you're part of the family. Our boys had a great time, and have to say their favourite part was undoubtedly playing with Effie. Thank you again for welcoming us to your place, and being so loving and accommodating.

Had a wonderful break with our teens at the Seashack. Aberdovey is a lovely little spot and the chalet sits above it with beautiful estuary views. The chalet was well equipped, clean and the beds and bedding were really comfortable. In terms of location, it was peaceful and quiet, a lovely spot to chill however if you had mobility issues and wanted to go anywhere from the chalet you would have to drive. The walk to the village is steep and about 20minutes. The WiFi wasn’t great which didn’t bother my husband and I, just bear it in mind if you have teens who need constant connection to their friends and the latest viral memes. Our suggestion of the board games in the chalet were met with raised eyebrows and shaking heads. We loved the Dolgoch falls which was a fairly easy climb and not far. We also had a fantastic time white water rafting in Bala, this was an hours drive but worth it. Overall, a really lovely place for a little break.

Just got back from an amazing weekend in Sycamore Lodge. We were a party of 5 and the lodge was perfect. Felt very luxurious, everything was spotlessly clean and the lodge had everything we needed. Hot tub was private and peaceful, and was well maintained. Hot tub comfortably fit everyone. Plenty of parking too. Had a fantastic stay, will definitely be back and will be recommending to family and friends!

Had another great stay at the eco lodge. Ideally placed outside Wallingford in lovely countryside and convenient for the Ridgeway and associated places. The eco lodge is private with its own parking and despite the roasting weather the week we were there, it kept a comfortable temperature inside. lovely big bed, excellent space to relax and with it's own kitchen and bathroom and all the amenities you could want. Kunzi the owners friendly cat is on hand to meet and greet and the field adjacent the front of the lodge is alive with wildlife. It's a great place to relax or use as a base for exploration. Recommend Wallingford and Henley on Thames for exploration and the Ridgeway for great walking and scenic views.

Emma’s place was lovely! It is in perfect location being a short walk through Mumbles and to the ice cream store. It was really relaxing and came with all the utensils as well as being really clean. Emma was a lovely host! 💛

Had a lovely 3 night stay at this lovely countryside retreat. The surrounds were beautiful and so peaceful. There's plenty to do around the local area. A lovely beach not even 10 minutes away, lake windermere half an hour up the road and the aquarium just down the road from that. The rooms were lovely and clean and had plenty of space for the 5 of us ( 2 adults 2 children and the dog) Kelly was really helpful with any questions I had and even suggested local places to visit even before we booked. Would definitely stay here again. If you want peace and quiet but still a stones throw away for fun days out this is definitely the place to book.

Beautiful place on the lake with amazing views. The boys loved feeding the ducks and watching the water sports. Ben was really friendly and accommodating to our needs. Lovely property and the home entertainment system was great on the rainy days. Highly recommend. Thanks very much Ben

Great short stay at the chalet on a very green and pretty park & the river out your door . Everything we needed , warm and dry . Bottle Opener and corkscrew 😊. Dogs settled straight in !

We had a lovely stay. The views were beautiful. There was no phone signal, but the internet was good. Only thing to be aware of is not all the rooms are accessible from the communal space, though this didn't bother our group.

Fantastic stay for my wifes birthday, the views were outstanding, the place has everything you need and more, playstation speaker etc, gorgeous hot tub and the welcome bottle of wine was lovely too! Already looking at dates for our next stay, would recommend but also want to keep it quiet so no one else books haha! Thanks Again!

second time at lilypad ..have recommended it to our friends .took a fishing rod this time alas no bites lol its a very chilled place great beds everything to hand ...Will be back ..we do enjoy the experience..ie the centre has everything you need For food your better off going to the surrounding pubs ...thanks again ...ps a better price would be welcome discount for regulars

Had a lovely stay after our wedding in Croatia, we were welcomed with champagne, chocolates and a card which was such a lovely surprise 😀 and balloons and a congratulations sign, it was so peaceful and my husband enjoyed some fishing, just what we needed, thank you Ben and Charlotte 🥰

Exceeded expectations. Really comfy bed & bedding. Well equipped kitchen. Everything you could possibly need for a comfortable relaxing stay. Would lovee red to return sometime. Highly recommend

I stayed at the lodge for a special family weekend and the facilities were fantastic for a stay close to Rudyard lake and its charming facilities, with clean, well equipped cabins and a relaxing hot tub too! Lovely view of trees and the meadow, and Dan and Mogs were such helpful and friendly hosts. Not accessible without a car, but once we were at the lodges we could easily walk to the attractions and hotel around Rudyard lake. Thanks so much! We’ll have great memories for a long time.

was very well situated on the lake with lots of nature. when arriving in the dark there was no lights or signage to direct you to the property. But very lovely property and park. Lake Windere is such a Stunning part of the world . Will be visiting again .
