The Old Painter‘s House, Ferienhaus am Wasser

Wunderschönes Ferienhaus mit großem Garten in direkter Wasserlage am Kanal mit traumhaften Blick in die ostfriesische Landschaft. Das Haus wurde umfassend saniert und renoviert. Wichtig war uns dabei, den ursprünglichen Charakter beizubehalten und diesen mit heutigem Wohnkomfort zu verbinden. Regionalität, Nachhaltigkeit und Individualität waren unser Kompass. Am Rande des historischen Dorfkerns in ruhiger Lage, nur einen Katzensprung zum Deich, zum Hafen und zur Fähre nach Ditzum.

The "Thea" townhouse impresses with cozy retreat corners, such as the sleeping area with a view of the sky, the light-flooded reading & relaxation room with a small yoga & meditation corner, or the outdoor bed. Dogs are welcome, and there is a fenced garden, a cuddly cave and bowls for them. I myself loved living here and enjoying all weather conditions from the sleeping area, listening to the birds in the outdoor bed or reading on the sofa with a cup of tea.

The cottage is centrally located, right in the middle of East Frisia! Perfect for excursions in all directions and within a 20 km radius there is much more to experience and discover than you can do on a vacation. In the immediate vicinity, it is rural and tranquil with animals and lots of greenery. And the East Frisian also likes to have a little snack ;) Here you can still find idyll and cordiality! Relax in this special and quiet space. Located directly at the Petkumerhafen, it offers many opportunities for bike rides and walks. Several times a day, the ferry goes to the idyllic fishing village of Ditzum. Emden and the East Frisian countryside have many attractions and leisure opportunities available. Kitchen Kitchen has a dishwasher. If needed, two guest beds for children can be provided. Linens and towels are furnished.

Welcome to Tidehuus Krummhörn. Our house is a detached house and stands on a 1600 square meter plot. It was lovingly renovated in 2020. Last makeover of the living room 10/24. It is located in the quiet village of Loquard. It is about 2 km to the dike edge, 1 km to the baker (Rysum), 11 km to other shopping (Pewsum) or 12 km (Emden) The Tidehuus is a good starting point for extensive bike tours in East Frisia.
