WELCOME to a stay in our beautiful apartment, which is located in the amazing nature, right up the forest and with several lakes in the area - including a short distance to Østre Søbad, where you can swim all year round. There's also a sauna in connection with the lake. We live in the middle of Søhøjlandet and have a 10-minute drive to Silkeborg city center. There are 2 km to Pizzaria and shopping in Virklund. There is wifi in the house, but no TV as we invite you to peace and good nature experiences. There is underfloor heating throughout the home.

Enjoy your morning coffee in the pavilion with the wood stove on. Read a book in the double bed overlooking the lake or take the mountain bike and take a ride on the route outside the door. The house was built in 1905, there are wooden floors and high ceilings in all rooms. Bedroom with double bed and space for a cot - Living room with dining table and 4 chairs, sofa bed with 2 beds, TV, Wi-Fi, books and games - Kitchen with dishwasher, refrigerator, stove, - Bathroom with toilet, shower, washing machine. Outdoor fenced space with dining area and barbecue.

Har I lyst til at opleve Danmark fra sin smukke og rolige side, så er “Vidkærhøj” stedet for jer. Boligen er en del af vores ejendom fra 1870’erne, og var oprindeligt en gammel stald, som vi nænsomt har istandsat over de seneste par år. Den er beliggende centralt mellem Aarhus, Silkeborg og Skanderborg. Her er højt til himlen, og hvis I har lyst vil vores hund, Aggie, meget gerne hilse på jer, ligesom vores kat, høns og haner også er meget nysgerrige. Vi glæder os til at tage imod jer 🤗
