BEAUTIFUL location and home!!! Extremely picturesque, feels secluded and private, the bathroom is gorgeous, all the amenities are perfect and George and Kim were amazing hosts, went above and beyond to make sure we were extremely comfortable and had a great vacation.

Such an amazing, cozy mini vacation—truly felt right at home! Mornings with coffee on the balcony were the perfect start to the day. The thoughtful touches throughout the apartment, especially the fan in the bedroom, made the stay extra comfortable. It was so quiet and peaceful, and watching the deer wander by was a real treat!

Our stay here was for our annual friends lake weekend was great. The house is well-stocked, as advertised, clean and convenient. Evan was super responsive with questions, replying almost immediately and following up to make sure everything worked out. It would’ve been nice to have an oscillating fan in the bedrooms just for a little air movement as there are no ceiling fans, but that’s just our personal preference for sleep. We had a great experience overall.

We made some amazing memories at the Quiet Cove! Having access to kayaks, paddle board , and fishing from the dock made our stay so much fun. We ended each day around the fire out on the porch with a guitar, diving with the family. The house is super well stocked which made us feel like we were visiting a friend’s home, not just a rental. My Lady and I celebrated our three year anniversary here for a week. Maya was a great host. Everything was listed as it was. The entrance also had some updates and she let us know. The view is very breathtaking and the house was very cleanly and welcoming for us. There are instructions on how to use most utilities in the house. (the stove was very nice and required some figuring out haha) The master bedroom has a TV that comes down from the ceiling using a remote. The area is very quiet. The patio has a grill and some tables to eat outside if you wish. Maya will let you know if any lawn care contractors will be coming to help clear brush, so critters don't make homes where you walk around. Overall this is a great place to stay. Not only for the amazing view and home, but you'll also be having a host that will make sure you're taken care of and will answer you promptly. 10/10. We would stay here again. Thank you again Maya

We enjoyed our stay at Jenelle's place! We brought our dogs and they loved the huge yard and direct access to the lake! We also enjoyed the relaxed environment of being out back. We made s'mores in the firepit and made use of the kayaks they offered! The outdoor space really ticks all the boxes! The inside looks just like the pictures. Beautiful kitchen on the second floor with a good, smaller kitchen on the first floor. Above all, Jenelle was really accommodating to us and made sure we enjoyed our stay and had everything we needed. She also sends a very helpful guidebook ahead of time to help plan your stay, which as someone who loves to plan and stay organized I really appreciated! Would recommend to anyone looking to stay in Austin!

We really enjoyed our stay! The house was nice and updated. My kids loved the paddle boat and we enjoyed the serene atmosphere. It was also convenient to drop our boat at the nearby McNair Park and tie up in the canal behind Michelle’s house. We can’t say enough good things about our stay and have already booked with her again!

The place was beautiful snd so unique! We loved the furnishings and the outdoor spaces! The spool was wonderful, and we spent much of our time just enjoying the views! We particularly enjoyed the sunsets! It was a very relaxing weekend for us!

The house matched the photos, was beautiful, spacious and cozy. It was very quiet and peaceful, only one neighbor on one side who wasn't there, and utility station on the other side. The porch was lovely to hang out and had a beautiful view of the water and part of sunset. We also saw deer and plenty of birds. It was great having a big table in the kitchen so the whole group could sit together to eat. Big green lawn with easy access to the water in a very quiet and peaceful inlet. Host was very responsive throughout the booking process and beyond.

Escape to the Hollows was the perfect place for a “staycation”. It was one of the best vacation rentals I’ve done. John was super responsive and friendly. When you stay there you want for nothing. You don’t need to bring anything other than your clothes and personal necessities. I’m already thinking of coming back to the Austin area for thanksgiving and Escape will be at the top of my list!

We really enjoyed our stay here. We most likely will be back and recommend others to stay here as well. The value was great for the place and view. There were a few minor wear and tears on items but we didn’t stay in the room long enough for it to affect our stay or opinion. I absolutely loved how spacious the balcony is, the seating areas, and the ability to see the pool and the lake at the same time. It was an amazing view. There were a few minor issues with plumbing in the garage but we weren’t near or at the room so honestly we wouldn’t have known anything about it if the host wouldn’t have communicated it. I believe this is a gem and I’ll definitely stay again.

This place is so cute and convenient! Everything was very clean and looked just like pictured. Easy to get into, super close to the pool and lake, and there are so many things on the resort to do (at an additional cost) within a 5 or so minute walk. Kitchen had so many different things to cook with and there’s a grill outside. The check out list is also easy to complete, as long as you know where the dishwasher switch is. Definitely recommend this place!

Our family of four absolutely loved our stay! The location is private and peaceful, and while it’s a bit far from Austin and all there is to do downtown, it was the perfect escape for our Spring Break weekend. The condo was cozy, with plenty of games and activities. We enjoyed our time on the patio, played pickleball, spent a lot of time in the hot tub and pool (or reading by the pool at sunset with the most incredible view), and my animal whisperer son got to feed and interact with the deer on site- a real highlight for him! Thank you, Cheri for a wonderful stay! We hope to be back one day!
