New cabin with high standards in quiet surroundings. Located at the end of a cabin field with no transit traffic, it's just as good for families as it is for the group of friends. There is a car road all the way up to the cabin throughout the year, and good parking. This is a perfect starting point for trips in Jotunheimen and the surrounding mountain areas. In winter, there is a cross-country ski trail just behind the cabin, and you can take on alpine skiing just outside the cabin door and run to the alpine resort. The cabin is beautifully located also for hunting, fishing and total relaxation.

One hour from Jotunheimen with 255 of Norway's 300 mountain peaks over 2000 meters. And if you want urban city life, it is fifteen minutes to drive to the charming village of Fagernes. Shop, restaurant and bakery within walking distance.

Evening and Sunday open grocery store Mesnali 3 min. Bed linen and towels can be rented and must be pre-booked - price NOK 250/£20/€25 per set. Feel free to bring your own. The historical farm Nigard Kvarberg is beautifully located with a panorama view of Jotunheimen, in the middle of the vibrant and authentic cultural landscape of the mountain village Vågå. You will stay in Øverstuggu, one of about 50 buildings in the historical Kvarberg farm.
