Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Hamburg Township

My stay at the Rock House was incredible -- absolutely one of the most unique, spotless, adorned, and beautiful homes I've had the fortune to stay in. Tamela was proactively helpful, gracious, and curates a comprehensively equipped space -- everything you could hope for in an Airbnb host! I appreciated all of the touches that made my stay seamless, as well as the very comfortable beds. The location is also very peaceful, historic, and walkable. 10/10 stay; do yourself a favor and stay at the Rock House whenever you find yourself in the greater Detroit area!

Fantastic location! Feels like "up north" but only 1 hour from Detroit. Quiet, no-wake lake with large yard, fire pit, screened in porch and beautiful views. Highly recommend and plan to return next year.

The team was responsive, the place is perfect if you are traveling with a family. The noise restrictions had me nervous with a toddler but my kiddo is pretty well-behaved and it actually makes for an enjoyable stay and environment. We will be back.

We have stayed in a lot of Airbnbs, and this was one of the best! This lovely house was our home base for five days while our kids were in camps and we explored the area. We loved how clean and fresh everything felt, the lovely kitchen, the gigantic upstairs suite, the comfy beds, and all the amenities offered. The backyard was so peaceful and private (and our dog loved exploring it). The location really couldn't be beat, either. For a few nights, we had four adults, two kids, and one dog, and it still felt spacious and just right for our family. THANK YOU so much for the wonderful space!

This was, by far, the best air bnb we have stayed at! Fully stocked with all the extras, beautifully clean! The view was gorgeous, sound of the water so peaceful! Thank you so much for your thoughtful preparations! We’re not able to use the kayaks, water was a bit rough and still cool! But, we had loads of fun! Would love to come again!

My goodness, the pictures dont do this place justice. I think we underpaid! The house was beautiful, the surroundings were amazing, 10/10 highly recommend. Joseph was timely in his responses, we had no issues with entry or accommodations. A word of advice to future guests, carpool or travel in the least amount of vehicles possible, the parking is scarce and we would not want to impede on such a beautiful neighborhood with a procession of cars. Thank you Joseph 100%!

Lisa was a wonderful host and even met us at the door when we arrived to make sure that we were settled in okay and knew how everything worked. She checked in throughout the stay just to make sure everything was okay which I appreciated. I would gladly stay here again as it was the perfect location for when we come to visit Lapeer. The place was very clean and lovely and the appliances were easy to use. Thanks again Lisa!

This was a lovely place to stay near campus with my three children! Clean and comfortable, and the host even had a small chest of toys for the kids. Highly recommended!

My husband and I stayed here right after our wedding. Just a little getaway after all the fun and craziness. The Airbnb was beautiful and exactly like described in the description and photos! It had a sauna, a beautiful bathroom with a separate shower and tub, and a beer on tap, which was a fun little bonus! The balcony was our favorite part. We sat outside in the mornings with a coffee and enjoyed the views (and honestly the people watching lol). The lake is literally across the street and the 3 minute walk was awesome. Overall a wonderful experience! Highly recommend if you need a quick getaway or want to treat yourself to a more “high tech” luxury apartment 🥰

Had a great stay at Kathy's place! The unit was as pictured and described, and it was very clean with lots of thoughtful touches for guests. The shower was amazing and the bed was very comfortable. My only advice is to make sure you read the description of the place because it is a basement unit and quite a lot of noise can be heard from above. It was easy to get to and a straightforward walk to places to eat (10-15 minutes) and the U of M campus (~25 minutes). I would stay there again on a visit to Ann Arbor.

My wife and I stayed here for an extended memorial day weekend. The balcony suite was laid out great. We loved sitting on the private balcony in the mornings with the dogs to enjoy a coffee and some quiet. It was a very short walk to the downtown area that had a lot of great restaurants and a few coffee shops. There was also a park right along the river that was also within walking distance. If we are ever in the area again, we will definitely try to book here again!

This was my first Airbnb stay and it was great. The stairs are super steep, that’s my only concern because of my bad knee, but I’d still stay there again. The unit was very clean, organized and all the furniture was very comfortable. The location was great, the neighborhood was quiet and beautiful. The host was helpful and quickly responded. My flight was delayed almost 6 hours and he made sure the front light was on for me. 😊

Cassandra was super awesome😌 I made a long drive from the bottom of the states and the house was very welcoming. Any issues or questions I had, she was very responsive and thorough especially considering I was unfamiliar with the area. I enjoyed my stay and felt safe (solo woman traveler). I highly recommend this house. I spent a week there and found it to be very peaceful, with plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby. I’d also like to highlight how incredible Blessing is—attentive, kind, and always ready to help throughout my stay.

A great location for our trip to visit family in Grosse Pointe. We had a lovely stay, and will stay here again if we can.

It was our second time staying at Ian's place, we had a great time once again! Easy to find and in a nice and safe neighborhood. The small appartments make it easy to have privacy even when travelling as a group. Highly recommend!

Hosts were friendly, helpful, and informative. Beautiful and peaceful property with loads to do. Travelers of all ages can find something to do on this property and in the surrounding park areas.

This place absolutely perfect! Zoha and Samina went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and safe. I felt like I was at home. So close to all the places like food, mall, restaurants. The most important thing I loved is the garden, so so pretty and so much work put into it, nature is my favorite so I truly appreciate it, the view from my window was so so beautiful. The place was truly amazing, everything was so easy. Hosts let check out a little later cause I started work later in the evening and that was so sweet of them. If you want private, peaceful, homey neighborhood this one’s for you. They literally have everything you need. Both Zoha and Samina are so kind and thoughtful, cannot recommend it enough. Definitely coming back!!! Thank you so such a wonderful hospitality!

I had a wonderful time staying at Leah's place for my birthday getaway. The house was cozy, well-equipped, and had everything I needed to feel at home. The added touch of dog treats was a pleasant surprise! However, I did notice some minor issues—there was leftover garbage in the kitchen bin, and there were a few insects in and around the house, which is understandable given the cottage setting. The hot tub and some outdoor amenities, like the open shed, also had larger spiders, which made it a bit challenging to use the kayaks and hot tub as much as I’d hoped. Despite these small concerns, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would recommend this villa for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.
