After a nice day in the area, plop down on the couch or outside in the sheltered and sunny garden on the south. From the living room you step into the bedroom with an ensuite bathroom with a rain shower.

Klaushuus - fabulous views, great location

Whilst simple in design and furnishings, the Klaushuus boasts one of the most magnificent settings on the island. From the living/dining room and the spacious south-facing terrace you have beautiful and unobstructed views of meadows with horses, pheasants and rabbits and the forest. Stroll through the woods and dunes and you'll reach the beach in 10 minutes, Nes village is a 10-minute walk or short bike ride and the great beach restaurant Sjoerd is also only 10 minutes away on foot.

Lyts Kastieltsje, a quiet cottage in an orchard

Lyts Kastieltsje is a short walk from the Waddenzee, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the largest tidal area on Earth. The cottage was once part of the cooling barn for the old fruit farm. It is surrounded by just over a hectare of gardens, orchards and meadow which provide a home for our three sheep, bees and many species of birds. The orchards contain plum, quince, medlar and different varieties of apple and pear trees. We also share the place our dog Jack, 10 ducks and some chickens.

Dike villa with infinity view

This beautiful house right on the dike can accommodate up to 4 people. The centerpiece is the spacious terrace with its breathtaking view of the IJsselmeer. Whether spending time in the sun or watching the numerous surfers, sailing boats or water birds. Everyone really gets their money's worth here. The house was furnished with a lot of love to a high standard. Appliances such as a Bora hob and a Quooker hot water tap were installed in the kitchen. We look forward to seeing you.

Guesthouse in the countryside

Relax and unwind in our oasis in the countryside! Rural and freely located on a small pond with private terrace and sheltered deck. Choose to go offline and enjoy our garden, the area (lovely to discover by bike or car), nice villages and restaurants in the area. Located just below Drachten, you can be in the city center in less than 10 minutes by bike. Or cycle in 15 minutes, for example, to the beautiful Beetsterzwaag and visit one of the galleries, gardens or the forests.

Logement “Smederij Sterk” is located in the old townsmithy of J. Strong. The monumental building dates back to 1907 and is located in the middle of the city center, close to museums, restaurants, cozy shopping streets and the station. The accommodation has its own entrance, a living room with its own kitchen, a bedroom and a private bathroom with shower and toilet. The accommodation has a view of and adjacent to a beautiful square where you can also sit outside.

Although the space is cozy and smartly decorated – typical of a Tiny House it offers everything for a cozy stay.
