With gorgeous views of Lake Biwa east, forests and mountains nearby, we are surrounded by nature. Biwako Valley ski & scenic resort is nearby; Kyoto is just 35 minutes away by local train. Hiking trails are nearby, Lake Biwa 1 km away. Guests are welcome to interact with us, and our dogs, upstairs. If coming by train, inquire about us picking you up at Horai station before reserving. This is a residential neighborhood but we arrange rides down and up. Due to regulations, we can't serve dinner.

The chalet is located close to restaurants and just a few minutes walk to the Hirafu intersection & convenience stores. This villa has 2 x Japanese tatami bedrooms on the 1F, which sleeps 6 people on futons. The 2F with lots of sun light has an open kitchen and tatami area. There is large Japanese style Hinoki wood bath tub in one of the two bathrooms. There is a TV with an HDMI cable for screening Netflix's etc (no local or cable TV). Free Internet (WIFI). Peace&One is located in the middle of Mt.Shakushi, the sacred mountain of Northern Mt.Fuji area. We use 100% natural mineral spring water for drinking and bathing. We have good sound system cafe&bar. The price include shuttle from Mt.Fuji station, mineral water, ice, breakfast. You can also enjoy the outdoor extreme sauna for 2,000yen per person and BBQ equipment rental for 1,000yen per person.
