The house was even more beautiful and cozy than the pics listed. It was very clean and had all of the things we needed. It’s the perfect place to stay with an amazing view of the water. Our host/the owner were very accommodating and we felt right at home. We will definitely book again!!!

This was our first little family vacation for our blended family. It was absolutely the best and absolutely beautiful place we chose from. There was plenty of beds for a family of 6, 4 teens and 2 adults, couch space, and dining. The teens LOVED the slide on the side to use instead of the stairs! It's close enough for little day trips to Lindale and Jefferson; and the bait store was a short 10min drive. We would definitely chose this place again every time. We'd give this place 5+ stars if we could!

Candace was VERY responsive! We had severe storms while we were there and she made sure to keep us updated when the electricity went out as she knew anything on when it would be back on. The house itself was a lot nicer than the pictures could do justice for! There were A LOT of deer at night and birds in the morning. We loved enjoying coffee out on the porch. I would highly recommend staying here.

Such a wonderful place to stay on Caddo! The hosts were very responsive and attended to our minor issues. The cabin is well stocked and we needed for nothing while we were staying! We have already planned our second visit at this location.

We had a great stay at this beautiful, newly built home in Hallsville! It has amazing curb appeal, a large garage, and cute farmhouse-style decor. The open-concept kitchen and living room made it easy for everyone to hang out together. We loved relaxing on the back porch, watching birds and enjoying the peaceful woods behind the house. All the beds were super comfortable, and the master bathroom shower had the best water pressure of any Airbnb I’ve stayed in. No need to wash my hair in the kitchen sink this time! Being able to park in the garage was a nice bonus. A couple of small things (like the front lights and bathroom fan) weren’t working, but the host responded quickly and said they’d be fixed. Overall, a lovely place that made our trip to the Great Texas Hot Air Balloon Race even better!

Joel was a fantastic host. Booking and check-in was seamless, the best I've seen. The Lakehouse was clean with alot of extra items ie. kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom. I felt like I had everything I needed if I were home. The house was very spacious. I especially liked the large tub with jets. Pictures do this home no justice. It looks even better in person. The Lake views were spectacular. 6 days was not enough for us. This home was perfect for us and so beautiful. We would definitely return!!!

Everything about our stay was wonderful. The house is beautiful, well thought out design and very clean. The sleeping area is separate from gathering area and that worked wonderful for napping toddlers. The bathrooms are very spacious and well lit. The laundry room is great when you are staying for over a week with family. We even got to enjoy the pool since it hit 85* in February. Many hours spent in the hot tub Beds are awesome and very comfortable. The house is not at all cluttered and very tastefully decorated. The view of the lake was so peaceful and felt so private. Had a little luck fishing in the lake but mostly just enjoyed family time in this lovely home. GW is so kind and welcoming, he makes you fell like family. If we are ever in the area again we will see if this property is available to make more family memories.

Location location location! If you are there to take your boat out on Caddo Lake, the location on the water is ideal! Just minutes from a public boat ramp. A short ride across the lake to Johnson’s Marina! The perfect combo of lake life with creature comforts

If you are wanting a nice, quiet place to escape all of life’s craziness, this is the place for you! We loved the quiet, peacefulness. It is far enough out get away from everything yet close enough to several things to do. The cabin was lovely and very clean.

We just moved to the area and this place was perfect with the on site clean storage! Very peaceful and private setting to relax and enjoy the outdoors. At night, put the phone away and listen to the frog and owl sounds, they are a joy to listen to. Thanks for making our extended stay so memorable!

Great location. Quiet area with Great views. The dock and kayaks were great, kept our 9 year old occupied the entire time. With the water level being a little high we were able to bring our bass boat to the dock for even easier access to the lake. The host was friendly and very responsive.

My family and I had a great stay at this cabin. We all immensely enjoyed the provided kayaks. Kayaking through the cypress trees was so much fun. My husband and child enjoyed sitting on the porch swing for hours trying to spot an alligator. I loved sitting in the hammock chair out on the screened in porch during the mornings and evenings. It was so peaceful watching nature do what it does. There was a red headed woodpecker hammering away on tree after tree. A great blue heron was fishing and then stood sentry out on the point for a while. Either an egret or ibis stalked its breakfast through the brush at the waters edge feet from the porch. On the weekdays & -nights, it was silent except for the sounds of nature. I had a silent chuckle to myself at one point that it was like watching a scene out of a real life fairy tale. I highly recommend getting a paperback book from your local library or bookshop before making the trip to enjoy on the porch.

My older kids & I stayed one night with our puppy! We had to cut it short a night but due to family things I had to get back home. We got some dirt on a white blanket & especially due to it being white, I threw it in the washer. After, we twisted & squeezed it out outside then put it in the dryer. We shortly realized the dryer had no heat. I had to run so I hung it across the dining chairs to dry with a fan pointed on them. I messaged & told him after calling the number he asked me to. I got no answer until a few hrs later which was fine because he was trying his best to be accommodating & apologetic. He mentioned getting the dryer fixed/ replacing for future guests! IF you bring a dog, the house has a fence around it. If it is a small dog like ours (approx. 13#) be prepared to keep them completely supervised outside or on a teather as the drive gate & walk through gate has gaps mine could squeeze through if she tried. I put the rolling trash can in front of the drivegate. It worked!
