Die Küche ist komplett eingerichtet um sich selbst zu verpflegen. Waldesruh liegt am Stadtrand von Berlin in einer ruhigen, wald- und wasserreichen Gegend mit guter Verkehrsanbindung. Zu Fuß zur Buslinie 108, mit Anbindung an U-Bahn (Elsterwerdaer Platz), S-Bahn (Lichtenberg) und Straßenbahn.
