The house is close to the forest, which is filled with beautiful lakes, and it is a 3-minute drive from Silkeborg's most beautiful lake, which you can see in the pictures. There is grass + outdoor areas, and the house has two bedrooms, a large living room + conservatory, kitchen, hallway, bathroom and toilet. There is WiFi in the house, but no TV as we invite you to enjoy peace, nature experiences, socializing and lovely conversations!

The apartment is on the first floor overlooking the forest and the river valley. The bed is in the loft, where there is a skylight window so you can enjoy the stars, the wilderness bath can be purchased if you want and come here in. Wine and tapas can be purchased

The home is located right on the highway but has soundproofed windows. But noise from traffic is to be expected - especially on weekdays and at harvest time. There are 2 km to shopping and 7 km to Silkeborg city center. Everyone is welcome. Finally, ask for suggestions for hiking, activities or dining

Ever dreamt of a cabin, forest and lake to yourself? The family will stay together in one big room with single and double alcoves. Patio goes all around the house and gives a magnificent view of the lake. It also leads to the tree house; fully equipped with bed, workstation and Wi-Fi. Rowing boat available year round, late spring to early autumn 2 SUP boards and 3 kayaks available (please inquire). 15 min from town centre and groceries. Sleeps 8, more comfortable for 6. Fishing on your doorstep!

Vidkærhøj

If you want to experience Denmark from its beautiful and quiet side, then “Vidkærhøj” is the place for you. The home is part of our property from the 1870s, and was originally an old barn, which we have lovingly restored over the past few years. It is centrally located between Aarhus, Silkeborg and Skanderborg. It is high up here, and if you like, our dog, Aggie, would love to greet you, just as our cats, chickens and rooster are also very curious. We can’t wait to host you 🤗
