The seaside resort of Altefähr is located on Germany's largest island of Rügen, on the Strelasund and connected almost all year round by ferry directly to the historic harbor town of Stralsund opposite. The house is part of the Sonnengarten vacation park, just two years old and with the most modern amenities. Our semi-detached house has over 80 square meters on two floors, making it the largest house type, with space for five people. Altefähr is a place for water sports, anglers, any form of active vacation - and beach.

Die kleine Gästewohnung im Erdgeschoss unseres Einfamilienhauses liegt in einer bevorzugten Lage von Stralsund mit Blick auf den Strelasund und die Insel Rügen und direkter Anbindung an den Ostseeküstenradweg. Es handelt sich um eine Ein-Zimmer-Wohnung mit Bad und Küchenzeile inklusive Geschirrspüler und Kaffeevollautomat. Die Wohnung ist gemütlich eingerichtet und durch das Schrankbett, das sich tagsüber hochklappen lässt, geräumig. Ein Babybett wird auf Wunsch zur Verfügung gestellt.

For the past five years, we’ve been carefully restoring it, breathing new life into the 1899 estate. Relax on your sun terrace or start to Mecklenburg – Western Pomerania's most popular attractions. The historic old town of Stralsund (UNESCO World Heritage Site) is about 10 km away. In the immediate vicinity are the islands of Rügen and Hiddensee as well as the Fischland-Darß-Zingst peninsula with its long white sandy beaches.

Alternatively, you can relax on the large terrace overlooking the harbor and lighthouse.

Our two identical holiday cottages are located in a separate building next to our main house, each with its own private entrance – quiet and private. The sauna is right next to the natural swimming pond and can be used freely, with towels and bathrobes included. The pond is perfect for cooling off after the sauna. Centrally yet peacefully located, directly by the Small Jasmund Bodden and next to a large nature reserve.
