You will stay on the second floor of Villa Wachtertor, built in 1880. The villa is located at the highest point of the old town of Krems. The bedroom, with double bed and piano and the living room, with (sleeping) couch, are equipped with an antique parquet floor. From the living room you have a view of the freely accessible garden, Göttweig Abbey and the old town of Krems. The furniture is a mix of antique and new. The kitchen-living room has a dining area with garden views. With a heat pump and green electricity, we are climate-neutral

The town of Gföhl with shops and restaurants is 1 km away. At the Krumau reservoir (10 km), you have the opportunity for a boat trip.

Our old, former farmhouse is located in Burgschleinitz, a pretty village with a medieval moated castle, Romanesque church, Gothic ossuary and lots of nature between the forest and wine district near Eggenburg. Bicycles, e-bikes, canoes, kayaks, fireplace, grill, sand playground, table tennis and sauna. And Josephsbrot, perhaps the best bakery in Austria with a cafe. We look forward to it!
