The living room contains a "truth window" - a section where we left the original German fachwerk exposed for those who admire old homes to see some of the original settlers' handiwork. River Roost is a family vacation spot on the lake that sleeps 6. It is 3 miles off Interstate 35, located in a quiet neighborhood with access to 50 feet of waterfront. It is a quick trip to downtown New Braunfels with features such as Schlitterbahn waterpark, tubing, antique and grocery stores, department stores, and a great selection of restaurants. A guest binder is provided with information about the area and surrounding communities.

Common space has a couch bed and bunk beds, the bedroom has a king size bed.

Our cozy 1,000 sq. ft. guest house is located on an acre of land on Lake Dunlap in New Braunfels. We are 4 miles from downtown New Braunfels, and 5 miles from Gruene. Our main residence is on the same property, but you will enjoy your own space; the only thing we share is the main driveway into the property. This is a waterfront property-Guests agree to read, understand and adhere to the Liability Waiver in the house rules.
