Thatched Guesthouse with Fireplace & Garden

The guest house at Zuckerhut is located in Altensien, a village with thatched roofs. In the basement there is a spacious bathroom with shower, a kitchen & sitting area and a living area with a sofa bed. On the upper floor, which is accessible via the stairs, there is a sleeping area with a double bed and 2 single beds. After a day at the beach, you can have a barbecue. We are looking forward to families, couples & friends who want to explore the island and experience the Baltic Sea, which is a 7-minute drive away!

Our wonderful Swedish house, lovingly called Birka, is ideal for families, with parents and grandparents, but also ideal for friendly couples. 2 separately usable living areas on the first floor/attic with 1 bathroom each are ideal for this. It is quietly located in a vacation home settlement, surrounded by birches, with reduced traffic. The fenced garden with sandbox and playground quickly lets you forget everyday life and a vacation mood arises. Outdoor deck chairs and seating area let you enjoy the sun.

Fancy a break with lots of nature, peace, clean air and sea breeze? Rebuilt/renovated in 2020, our house is located in a beautiful garden. Rustic oak planks and a wood-burning stove meet modern minimalism. Situated on a headland in the Southeast Rügen Biosphere Reserve in a small village away from the tourist hustle and bustle, within walking distance to the water. It is quiet here, but the central location offers the best connections to bus, train and boat. Great restaurants are within walking distance. Pack your bags and come by!

Between Stralsund and Greifswald, the islands of Rügen and Usedom with their wide sandy beaches are reachable in 20 minutes by car. A rowing boat and a sauna in the sauna house are available to tenants on site. We offer pure nature and tranquility, no traffic, the location on the water is unique. Our house is particularly suitable for families and groups.

The living area is open and invites you to a cozy get-together by the fireplace. 5 minutes to the beach. If necessary, also a second parking space.
