Our cozy cottage is located in the back of the garden, and is built from the old building materials of the old Avenhorn auction. Conveniently located 10-40 km. from: Hoorn-Enkhuizen-Medemblik, Edam-Volendam-Marken. But also Alkmaar, the Zaanse schans, Amsterdam and not to mention the coast of N.Holland.

This cottage is located on the back of a farm, in the middle of a nature and bird area in North Holland, 30 minutes away from Amsterdam. Guesthouse "De Kraanvogel"

Guesthouse "De Kraanvogel" The atmospheric log cabin can be found in the yard of a farmhouse and has its own driveway. Sheltered under a wooden wall, look out towards the Fochtelooërveen and in the beautifully maintained garden. During the summer, the view may be obstructed by the growth of corn or any other crop. The cabin contains a bedroom, bath and living room and the whole can be heated with a wood stove. You can prepare yourself your own coffee or tea in the cabin.

Get away from it all, enjoy nature on the edge of the IJsselmeer and beach. In the 2700m2 backyard of our farmhouse are two detached tiny houses with a large private garden and private entrance with lots of privacy. The cottage is within walking distance of the historic city of Medemblik and close to Hoorn and Enkhuizen. Amsterdam is 45 minutes away. Various possibilities for water sports. Beach, ports, shops etc. reachable within 5 minutes by car and 25 minutes on foot.

You will stay in a cozy vacation home with one bedroom, bathroom with shower and toilet and a living room with open kitchen (oven and dishwasher) and dining area, all on the ground floor. The cottage is located next to our farm and is close to the Drents Frisian Forest, ideal for hikers, cyclists and nature lovers. During the summer you can use the swimming pool. An evening the spacious sauna, jacuzzi or hot tub renting for private use is recommended.

't Vechthuisje

't Vechthuisje was custom designed and built in 2018. The cabin is located right next to the river Vechte with private access to the waterfront (swimming!). At the other side of the river you’ll find the small village Dalfsen and closeby is the historic city of Zwolle. The cabin is situated in the heart of the popular 'Vechtdal' and a good starting place for hikes or cycling adventures along the river or in the nearby forests and dry heaths.

The houses at the park are both permanently inhabited and rented for vacation. You can go hiking, biking and mountain biking in the area. Cities like Assen, Leeuwarden and Groningen are easily accessible. The house is fully and stylishly furnished and invites you to relax with a book by the fireplace.
