Sit back and relax – in this quiet, stylish accommodation with its own garden, sauna and hot tub and direct access to the hiking trails in the beautiful Harz Mountains. The colorful city of Wernigerode with its cultural and culinary offerings and the beautiful half-timbered houses is within walking distance (about 10 to 15 minutes). Our vacation home was completed in the summer of 2025 and offers every comfort (2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, underfloor heating, fireplace, open kitchen/dining area).

The beautiful wooden floors, the large windows, the kitchen-living room and the distinctive bedrooms in different styles of the 20th century, make the stay an experience.

The studio is a very special place: a large apartment with a bed, 2 additional separate bedrooms, balcony, giant sofa and above all a long table where everyone can find a seat. The holiday home is located on the outskirts of the small village of Werna, population 200, which belongs to the town of Ellrich at the foot of the southern Harz Mountains. An open-plan kitchen/dining/living area with a fireplace invites you to enjoy convivial evenings. To rejuvenate, let yourself be wonderfully warmed in the infrared sauna, and after settling into the cozy Swiss pine bed, nothing stands in the way of a deep and restful sleep.

This stylish place to stay is perfect for group trips. This beautiful old Harz house is located in the heart of Sankt Andreasberg. It was completely modernized by 2022. In doing so, we have attached great importance to preserving the special features of the house and creating a typical mountain feeling. We rely on good and modern amenities. The house offers a nice base for your mountain time: for tours and for hiking, mountain biking or skiing.

The property and the area is also excellent for family vacations with children. From the property, many beautiful sights can be visited, such as the nearby towns of Braunlage, Goslar, Bad Lauterberg or St. Andreasberg.

The apartment is located on the first floor in an old storage building of the former horticultural company Benary. The vaulted cellar as the foundation of the house was built at the end of the 16th century. The half-timbered house above it was rebuilt around 1850 and completely renovated in recent years. All interior walls of the outer shell of the house are worked with clay plaster and thus ensure a pleasant indoor climate.
