This is the back unit of a fully-restored 1850s German home in downtown New Braunfels. The footprint became a duplex in the 1930s and we left it as such. The living room contains a "truth window" - a section where we left the original German fachwerk exposed for those who admire old homes to see some of the original settlers' handiwork. Complex is down the street from Schlitterbahn, and just minutes from downtown New Braunfels or historic Gruene. Nestled on a quiet part of the river, and right by where the Comal and Guadalupe merge to make either river convenient!
