A little Apartment on a farm of former times is searching there guests. It is very quiet around our house. There are only 16 km / 10 miles to Leipzig city centre. That means you can visit a beautiful german City during the day and relax on fire in the evening or having barbecue... The small kitchen has everything you will need to prepare your food. Our village Dreiskau-Muckern has around 460 inhabitants. The distance between lake Störmthal and us is only 1km. 200m away you will find a nice park to hear the birds sing or watch other animals. PURE NATURE Direct in the old surface mine you can take a ride on a quad bike. There are well prepared cycleways around here. That means you can feel free to ask us for a bicycle. Leipzig is reachable by bus or we will take our guests to tram Terminus or Leipzig main station. Altogether our accommodation is for people searching a mixture between town and village.

The vacation home has 160 square meters of living space and 5 bedrooms for 10 plus 2 people. It is located in the middle of the Leipzig Neuseenland on Lake Hain 20 km south of Leipzig. The core of the house is a 70 square meter dining/living room with huge windows, a long dining table and a fireplace. There are two large terraces, from the upper one you have a view far over the lake. The house was deliberately designed for sociable days in a larger group. For the children there are many books, toys and a playground.

The guest apartment is located in the completely newly converted attic of our house. It includes a living area with kitchen, 2 bedrooms and a large bathroom. The nearest supermarket is less than 1 km away and the bakery is only a 2-minute walk. If necessary, a bread roll service is possible on Saturdays. Riesa is located approximately midway between the cities of Leipzig and Dresden directly on the beautiful Elbe. The Elbe Cycle Path is about 3 km away.

The apartment was completed in May 2016. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families (with kids). Beautiful, secluded and very quiet property at the end of the small village. Beautiful view from the upper terrace over the Elbe landscape and the Elbe. The Elbe is about 400 m away. The Alte Elbe Kathewitz Nature Reserve begins 200 m away. Large hedges to the neighboring properties and a separate door to the Elbe dam. The house is good for up to 4 people. With an extra bed, however, it can also accommodate up to 6 people. Please feel free to ask.

Two bicycles can be used, so you are in the city or at the fair in 20 minutes.
