Ausgezeichnete Lage, abgeschieden und ruhig in wunderschöner Umgebung in den Vogesen. Die Gastgeber waren äußerst freundlich und hilfsbereit und immer telefonisch erreichbar. Vielen Dank für die Gastfreundschaft - wir konnten super abschalten und die Natur genießen!

Wir haben mit unserem Hund vier Nächte in der Hütte übernachtet und uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Harvest hat uns bei der Ankunft empfangen und uns alles wichtige gezeigt. Außerdem gab es zum Empfang einen sehr leckeren selbsgebackenen Schokoladenkuchen. Auch das englische Frühstück mit selbsgebackenem Brot, was man für 10 Pfund/ Person kaufen kann, ist sehr reichhaltig und zu empfehlen! Das eigene Badezimmer für die Hütte war ca 50m entfernt und sehr sauber. Die Hütte liegt wunderschön am Rand von Harvests Grundstück versteckt hinter einigen Bäumen. Man war wirklich für sich und konnte bei gutem Wetter vor der Hütte sitzen. Da wir das Bett nach der ersten Nacht etwas hart fanden, haben wir am nächsten Tag mit Harvest gesprochen und sie hatte sofort eine Idee und hat uns eine große dicke Bettdecke gebracht, die wir als „Topper“ unter das Laken legen konnten. Ein paar Mal haben wir mit Harvest sehr nette Gespräche geführt, man hat sich in ihrer Nähe sofort sehr wohl gefühlt.

Celebrated our 1 year anniversary and it was absolutely lovely, we are definitely going back! Lynden was so lovely and gave clear instructions that made finding eveything so easy, love our tour of the farm and feeding all the animals that were so friendly! The room was really nice and decorated so beautifully & really appreciated the complimentary snacks. We loved the hot tub, lighting the fire for our marshmallows, and how close the animals got to us! Was a lovely place to stay felt so at home and welcomed, would define my recommend :)

We had the best 2 night stay in the Shepards hut ! From being surrounded by the absolutely stunning gardens, meeting the wild ducks and peahen 🦚 🦆 to exploring the absolutely stunning coastline and the Galloway forest park it really had everything we could have asked for and more. Our Hosts were absolutely lovely and did everything to make sure we had an epic stay. We loved having the gardens to ourselves it felt like we’d walked into another world. The bed was super comfy and the hut had everything we needed for our stay ! It was so cozy and clean and we will definitely come back in the near future ! It’s located perfectly as well with the tearoom on site and only being a 15 minute drive from Stranraer and 13 minute drive away from the Kitchen Coos and Ewes which we highly recommend doing whilst in the area if you want to get up close and cuddle and groom highlands cows. Perfect location for relaxing, everything you need, even homemade cake, yummy, and walking if you want to, although some quite steep hills. We walked to Watermouth Castle, then took a bus to Ilfracombe, we walked to Coombe Martin then over the hills and back. Watch the bus times tho! The outside bath is a must and the fresh flowers and milk are a lovely extra touch too! Be careful to duck in and out of the horsebox door but the shower is hot and powerful. We had a lovely time in our little piece of North Devon for a long weekend 😀

Everything was just perfect. Very easy checkin, clear instructions on how to use everything, beautifully furnished with great amenities, loved that we could buy local produce too. Highly recommend staying here if you want to be at one with nature and have a few days to switch off. We will definitely be back!!

Lucy's retreat was a beautiful place to stay, the perfect couples getaway. She left local reccomendations, great directions, a birthday banner and even some treats for us, such thoughtful touches. Everything was perfect and spotless, great place to take our dog to. I couldn't reccomend this place enough thanks so much for a lovely getaway *****

We had such a wonderful stay for my partners birthday, Clive went the extra mile to make us feel welcome by putting up some birthday decorations and leaving us some treats for when we arrived. It's a perfect place to get away and unwind in nature, we were always surrounded by animals whether it was Norman the cat visiting during a bbq, hanging out with the goats, or watching the ducks drift about in the stream while relaxing in the hot tub. Thank you very much to Clive and Nikki for hosting us. I cannot recommend Kingfisher enough, we truly had an amazing time :)

I had a wonderful stay at the peerie neuk. Melanie has carefully created a very special place to stay. The hut is clean and cosy with privacy and a stunning setting. I was on a bike and the location made it easy to access all I had hoped to enjoy in Unst. Helpful and practical, Melanie was also lovely to talk to. I'll be booking again. Thank you Melanie!

Mike's place was an absolute dream for our pre-baby, relaxing getaway with our Whippet! It completely exceeded our expectations. The location is perfect, right on the SW coast path yet feeling wonderfully secluded, while still being just a quick 5-minute drive to Lyme Regis. Although the listing mentioned the garden wasn't fully secure, we found it to be very secure for our Whippet which was an added bonus. There are also several gates to pass through on the way from the parking area, adding to the security. Our dog lovedddd running about with a frisbee and then sunbathing ha! We honestly loved the property so much (especially the pool!) that we barely left, only venturing out for morning coffee and breakfast. Mike's recommendations were spot on – Poco Pizza was fantastic for takeaway, and communication was excellent throughout. We'll be hard-pressed to find another Airbnb that compares and look forward to coming back with our baby. Thank you!

Had a beautiful time at The Great Escape! Such a peaceful place with lush surroundings. The hot tub was such a treat and the hut was very clean with all the amenities you could need. Would absolutely come back!

Perfect quiet getaway with our 3 month old baby. Did get very hot due to heatwave, but lots of windows that can be opened and through draught. Amazing location, good kitchen, 2 hobs, fridge with freezer box section, good set of kitchenware. Bathroom, lovely shower and toiletries. All round perfect for our getway

Had an amazing stay at the shepherds hut after a long road trip round Scotland. The hot tub and the sauna were great and so relaxing. Pubs in walking distance is always a plus as well we had a great time and would live to come back

Nicola was the most fantastic host and made the weekend away for my parents truly special. They have both said they will be back! Could not recommend highly enough.

WOW... just spent a view days away at TINKERBELL... Can't recommend this lovely gem enough.. ! From the moment you walk through the gate you are taken away on a journey to pure relaxation and peacefulness.... The Shepard's hut is amazing., from it's size to the décor you won't be let down ...! The only downside is the wanting to be outside takes away the enjoyment to stay inside ... The outside is like a perfect secret garden with lovely different seating areas that take you past the amazing hot tub to the river side deck... OMG ... STUNNING VIEWS ...! hate saying this BUT if you only stay at one Airbnb stay here ..! ps shhhhhhh don't tell anyone ... keep it our secret... BUT seriously., you won't be let down with your stay here .. massive thank you to Yasmine ( a very welcoming helpful and responsive host ) 5 stars not enough ...!

We had the most incredible weekend at the hut, quiet peaceful location with amazing scenery. Kate was a fantastic host and provided us with helpful instructions to find the place and a load of recommendations for activities/food. The accommodation itself was clean and tidy and had all the essentials to make it a wonderful place to stay, thank you so much we will certainly be looking to come back soon!

Amazing location. Staff very friendly and quick to help. Would recommend to anyone wanting to stay somewhere with great walks, views and a cozy stay. Only negative was the unclean loo and bed throw but besides that everything was fantastic. 5/5 👏🙌🏾 Thank you!

Just idyllic. The site is very happily situated being a mere 5 minute walk from quaint Pateley Bridge, yet so peacefully out of the way that it feels as though you're in your own little slice of wilderness. The hosts, Lizzie and David, were both so accommodating and friendly, making us feel very welcome. We were provided with detailed information on how to find the place and Lizzie greeted us with a quick tour. The amenities were clean and tidy with lovely little eco-friendly details which we really appreciate. The shepherd's hut itself was just so cute. The bed, tucked away in a cozy cubby, the little log burner in the corner. It had everything we needed in terms of cooking equipment, cutlery and crockery, and even fresh ground coffee and milk- not to mention the packet of shortbreads! We will definitely be returning!

Excellent stay at the Shepard’s hut, it’s a cosy and quirky little place.. bed was comfy and the hot tub was great in morning and after a long day. Kate and Nathan were really friendly and helpful it’s also a lovely area . Would highly recommend

Myself partner and pooch🐶 were welcomed by Jane the moment we arrived. We received clear communication via msg ahead of arrival ensuring we knew all details and had a lovely introduction to the shepherds hut! We had some lovely treats on arrival and a stunning hut/view! The tub was ready for 7pm and was cleaned during our stay also. The fire wood lasted the duration of our stay and we made a fire each night. We were made to feel more than welcome. The hut is out of the way which made us feel like it’s just us and the wilderness! The pooch loved it. Lovely getaway! Jane informed us of nearby locations and even informed us of the ‘Strawberry Moon’ which was appearing during our stay which was lovely to see. All around amazing time!! Thank you so much!!! ❤️
