Smoking friendly holiday rentals in Northern Europe

This airb&b was AMAZING! Views were incredible. Host was great and responded quickly and we rented a car from the son which was 40€ per day. Host arranged someone to meet us at the port and showed us to our room. Truly, the only downfall was that the bed was incredibly firm (one of the worst beds I’ve slept in) but the views totally made it worth it! We felt very safe and would definitely stay again!

The location could not have been more perfect - an amazing space! The balcony view and unobstructed views of the sea, people jumping off the cliffs, the sunsets, the direct access to the path that lead to the Via dell’Amore, etc. was nothing short of spectacular. The apartment is comfortable, the bathroom has clearly been recently renovated, the dual air conditioning units, and little details like WiFi access and USB outlets at the bedside stand made this a perfect space to stay while in Riomaggiore. Elena was responsive, helpful, and friendly. Zero hesitation staying here the next time we return and look forward to recommending this to others who are planning travels to Riomaggiore/5terre. We loved Barcelona. The apartment was spacious and clean. Had many amenities and was very comfortable. Close to the metro and away from the crowds. Highly recommend!!

Very nice penthouse with a lovely view of El Pilar. Gloria was very responsive as well. Our only criticism was that the AC struggled to go lower than around 78-80F, but it was 95-100F when we were there. Would recommend!

This place was a highlight in our time in Greece. Not only was the property absolutely stunning with breathtaking views, but the hosts went really above and beyond for every element of our stay. We asked about how to get around and they offered to organise a car, which they then had delivered to us, at a discount, within half an hour. Then when we celebrated my birthday during the stay, Katerina showed up with a surprise birthday gift including wine. Both Katerina and Markos were super friendly and accessible, and Katerina knew the area in detail and gave lots of great personalised recommendations of where we could eat when I told her I was vegan. The room was made up daily with fresh sheets and towels and the entire stay was five-star hotel-level. My partner and I couldn’t recommend this place more highly! Honestly, do not go to Mykonos without staying here.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Erika's property. The accommodations were lovely, and I had a fantastic time. There are numerous restaurants nearby, along with an excellent selection of gelato shops. Everything is easily walkable, and if you prefer, a short Uber ride of about 10 minutes can take you to most major attractions. I highly recommend this place for anyone seeking a quiet and peaceful getaway.

Beautiful apartment, the stay went very well and the host was very responsive. The apartment is very well equipped (I would recommend adding shower gel, shampoo, etc. in the bathroom) The 2 TVs are smart TVs, so that's a big plus. The pool is superb, the only small downside is that you can't enjoy it all the time because it stays cold. Otherwise it was great, thanks again to the host!

There are no words to describe the kindness and helpfulness of Mrs. Maria Teresa; a wonderful creature who loves animals as most people should. The structure is absolutely perfect for what my needs were. Very clean, very comfortable mattresses, complete with everything you needed (from detergent to extra virgin olive oil made by them), including a beach umbrella, beach towels and even new slippers for the whole family. What can I say, people should take an example from this girl on how to run a B&B. I hope to return as soon as possible. 💛

Very lovely place and host

We loved our stay so much! Beautiful house and surroundings :) Borgo Val Di Taro is also a cute village to visit for ice cream, food and a good playground for our small kids! Thanks a lot for everything! We wish to come back in the future!

We have been to many countries so far. We visited Italy, Croatia, Hungary, Bułgaria, Canada,France but this place is the best . The house is very comfortable, cosy ,well equipped and it has its unique style.The garden is beautifull. We will always remember amazing sunsets and sunrises, the birds drinking water from the pool, the scent od flowers and plants.We used the pool few times a day. It was cleaned regulary. Kostas is a great host. We do appreciate his kindnese, care, generosity and hospitality. He gave us advice what is worth seeng, visiting. He even went with us to the town to do shopping. Kostas showed where we should buy the best vegetables, fruit, jest. Whatever you need he is always for you. Don't hesitate, just come to Dafni and spend gorgeous holidays.

The Siena Secret Garden apartment was amazing. We loved the location, and it was quiet and comfortable and stocked with a lot of beautiful art, books, and movies. Would definitely stay here again!

Walters Home is a wonderful oasis for all who appreciate peace and nature! The house is furnished with a lot of love and taste, everything is there to make you feel comfortable immediately. We especially liked the spacious terrace, the winter garden with the beautiful view of the countryside! Since the described access goes down the slope over hill and dale, travel bags are definitely the right choice and not for guests with limited mobility. Dear Walter, also in this way again a big thank you for the hospitality, also the fast and nice communication. Gladly again!

Beautiful house with incredible view and wonderful hostess

Chiara's accommodation is beautifully and very invitingly furnished, in addition, the accommodation was perfectly clean and we lacked nothing. There is even a small terrace where you can have breakfast in the morning. In the evening it is very quiet and in the area there are good shopping facilities that can be reached by car. The check-in was successful and we quickly found a parking space in the immediate vicinity of the accommodation. Chiara was always easy to reach and always helped us quickly with problems and questions. Thank you for letting us stay in your beautiful accommodation!

The location is very convenient — the metro is right under the building. All the necessary shops, cafes, and restaurants are nearby. The Eiffel Tower is about a 20–25 minute walk away. The kitchen, bathroom, and rooms were clean, with all the necessary amenities and even more. Wi-Fi worked perfectly, and there’s a fan in case it gets hot — and it was hot! The host was incredibly responsive — we communicated in broken English, but still managed to understand each other and sort everything out. Check-in was easy, everything works with access codes, super simple. The place matches the description and is definitely worth the price!

Francesco’s place was a dream and we couldn’t be more appreciative of his warm hospitality. The vegetation is even more beautiful in person and the property is quiet and relaxing. I’ve rarely stayed in such a well stocked airbnb. Francesco even came to help us get our car out of a narrow street. *Don’t follow google map directions to get to the house if you’re in anything bigger than a smart car

We were immediately enchanted by this property. Everything here makes up the image that one can have of the beautiful Tuscan countryside. At the top of the hill overlooking the valley, the view is splendid and romantic. The property has been renovated with today's comforts while retaining its soul of yesteryear. You feel good right away, the energy is beneficial, nature, animals, everything is in harmony! The welcome, Oscar's cooking, the superb pool, the shaded terrace, the hearty homemade breakfasts! It's more than a favorite, this place is a gem! We'll be back!

We had a great time at the place! The apartment was clean, cozy, and exactly as described in the pictures. The location was great. It is quiet, but still central. The check-in went smoothly, and the host was very friendly, easily accessible and helpful with questions. We felt completely comfortable and would come back anytime. Best view in Buda. Easy check in. Laundry plus all kitchen ware, good for a small family, though I was just staying alone.

We booked because another guest's review said "just go for it" and I would offer the same advice to others. We had a great time enjoying coffee & wine on the terrace while watching boat traffic on the Grand Canal. Although there are Vaporetto stops nearby, we walked almost everywhere we went and it was great to explore the neighborhood. For a quiet night in, stop by Fried Land (just around the corner) for excellent take-out pasta.
