Small, cozy vacation apartment (27m2) in the middle of the old town, a few meters from the pedestrian street with the Malt Factory in the backyard and shopping just around the corner. You will be staying in a well-maintained one-bedroom vacation apartment, with a modern bathroom and a small, well-functioning kitchen. Everything is nicely maintained. The apartment must be handed over in the same cleaned condition as at check-in. If you do not want to clean yourself, this can be purchased for DKK 300. There is the possibility of 1 extra bed on the sofa for a child, for an extra fee.

The apartment is located on the lower floor of our house and some noise from the family is to be expected. By appointment, we may use the washing machine in your bathroom when you are on a trip to town. In addition, you have the apartment to yourselves.

The home is located in rural surroundings overlooking fields but close to shopping and Silkeborg city. The home is located right next to the highway but has soundproof windows. But noise from traffic must be expected - especially on weekdays, when trucks and tractors are running and at harvest time. It is 2 km to shopping and 7 km to Silkeborg city center. You can also go to Snaptun, from where ferries sail to the peaceful islands of Hjarnø and Endelave – perfect for a day trip in nature.

The location of the home at Bassin 7 means that during your stay you are close to the harbor swimming pool, cafes, restaurants, shopping, etc. Take a walk along the promenade, take the fishing rod out on the pier, take a dip in the harbor pool, see the view from the Lighthouse (142 m) or eat at one of the many new restaurants and cafes in the nearby area. The exciting and varied city life pleases most people.

The house is 180m2 and provides plenty of space to enjoy both winter and summer seasons and has been completely modernized a few years ago.

If you want to experience Denmark from its beautiful and quiet side, then “Vidkærhøj” is the place for you. The home is part of our property from the 1870s, and was originally an old barn, which we have lovingly restored over the past few years. It is centrally located between Aarhus, Silkeborg and Skanderborg. It is high up here, and if you like, our dog, Aggie, would love to greet you, just as our cats, chickens and rooster are also very curious. We can’t wait to host you 🤗
