Casetta Melograno – Cozy farmhouse in Chianti

This house is part of an old building recently refurbished and in the past was a convent which used to be a part of the castle estate located in front of us. The interior design reflects the typical Tuscan style of furniture and materials. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge, induction hob, microwave, coffee machine, sink and utensils. Available daily, for breakfast you will find coffee/tea, milk, biscuits and cakes. it's recomended to have a car to reach the accomodation and to move.

The Cottage is part of a property owned by the Bernocchi family, which was already on maps of the area in the 1500s and is located right on an ancient Roman road that crossed the Calvana Mountains. About 9 km from Prato and 20 km from Florence. The Cottage, open on three sides, is situated in a panoramic position surrounded by a private park, ideal for walking and sports. A real home fitted with kitchen, living room, bedroom and bathroom. Large outdoor spaces, garden, and botanical garden.

In a strategic position close to Florence is a good base for exploring Tuscany and be independent at the same time with supermarkets and restaurants just a few minutes away. Close to a farmhouse you can buy fresh local organic ingredients, such as bio vegetables, eggs or cheese.

Entire apartment that can accommodate families. Equipped with full kitchen and TV in the living room. A strong point is the proximity to the center of Prato, about 15 minutes on foot and less than 10 by car. The bus stop is about a 2-minute walk away. The nearest train station is Serraglio, about 15/20 minutes walk. From this you can reach the central station of Florence in 20 or 30 minutes, depending on the trains. Living nearby, we are always available in case of any eventuality.
