The house is located on the eastern part of the island in the Kromose area. A quiet beach facing the Wadden Sea to the east, which is part of UNESCO's natural heritage, is only 500 meters walking distance on a path. Enjoy your morning coffee and tranquility on one of the lovely terraces or on the covered terrace. There is a great opportunity to see the northern lights in the winter months.

The house is the perfect starting point for exploring the nature and cultural heritage of southwestern Jutland.

Feel the wings of history when you stay at this over 100-year-old school. Experience the most beautiful sunsets, when the weather permits, in the bright southwest-facing apartment. The area offers a lot of lovely nature, with forests and rivers, as well as lovely eateries. The building also houses a shop, tailor workshop & private residence. Enjoy a stylish experience in this centrally located home. Uldgade is Tønder's most beautiful and famous street. The house is centrally located a few meters from Tønder's cozy pedestrian street with cafes and shops. There are a few meters to the park and the nature area at Vidåen. The marsh with all its experiences is right outside the door, and if you are into the Black Sun, there is plenty of opportunity to experience this amazing phenomenon. You will be staying close to the Wadden Sea, which is on UNESCO's World Heritage List. Højer is worth a visit with the beautiful old houses and the small streets with sights such as Højer mill, Højer sluse, arts and crafts. The home: Ground floor contains a small kitchen, hallway with stairs to 1st floor, bathroom with shower, 1 bedroom with double bed, dining room, and TV room. TV with the option to cast. 1st floor, small toilet, two bedrooms with double beds. You bring your own bed linen and towels.

Here you can relax and start excursions to the surrounding area. The house is situated in an idyllic location on the marsh hiking trail. The apartment is located in a half of the house that is separately accessible for guests. It offers a lounge area, a reading corner, a kitchen, 3 double rooms and 3 bathrooms. The hosts live in the other half of the house. In the guest garden you can relax or let off steam on the trampoline. An additional room in the passage area has been added.

Halmhuset - The Straw House

Our thatched house is probably the only "Halmhuset" that is rented as a vacation home in Denmark. It is breathable, made of clay and straw, and is sustainably supplied by heat pump and photovoltaics. In summer, the thick walls provide pleasant coolness, in winter it is cozy and warm, with a room height of up to 4 meters. A real feel-good place for up to 8 people, located at the gates of the city of Tønder, close to the Wadden Sea National Park and the islands of Sylt and Rømø.

Hello! We offer our cozy half of a thatched house. The cottage has 37 sqm downstairs, 28 sqm upstairs, a total of about 65 sqm. Upstairs, of course, is slanted. It is located in Boldixum on Föhr. This is a district of Wyk. Since it is still privately used by us, it does not have one thing: the efficient, smooth charm of a vacation home. Where the wild roses grow, that's where we live.
