Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Ruhr

The four of us had a nice time over the weekend and enjoyed the house. The hosts were very friendly. We will be happy to book again!

We spent some nice days at Klaus's place in Selkentrop. The accommodation is newly renovated, totally cozy, clean and is very quiet and close to nature – ideal for a small break with children. Especially great: the private playground right by the house. Everything was well equipped and child friendly (high chair, fall-out protection by the bed). Otherwise, everything was great and Klaus, who lives on the property with his family, was very friendly and easily accessible.

I was delighted with the accommodation that Katrin offered. The flat is vast. Everything was for me—a parking bay just at the door, only 100m to Lidl, and 500m to the open swimming pool. I slept very well—there were no noises coming from outside to my bedroom. To sum up, I got more than I expected.

We've already been to here for the second time and we felt very comfortable again - this time despite the rainy weather!We were well provided with tips and hints from hostess Andrea. The kitchen is superbly equipped and, above all, The garden is wonderful thanks to roses and seating and even a fire bowl. On foot, we were able to quickly (5-10min) leave the rather less exciting residential area behind us and were in the forest and in fields with the cows. We will be happy to come back!

We had a very pleasant stay. Cedric and his family are very kind and welcoming. We enjoyed spending a weekend on their farm. The alpacas are a great addition, very nice to meet them.

I travel a lot with AIR BNB privately and for business at home and abroad. This was really the most professional place I've ever rented. Everything available, there remained nothing to be desired. Welcome beers, water, modern coffee maker nespresso, everything where you can expect it. DAZN on TV , state-of-the-art equipment, flame newly renovated. Simply 5/5 stars. Even a high-ranking Karen would find something to complain about here. Thank you for everything.

We had a great stay. The accommodation is super cozy, modern and well equipped. The outdoor area also leaves nothing to be desired. Unfortunately, we had bad weather, otherwise we would certainly have used the nearby lake. All in all, we are very satisfied and would come back. A really perfect place to stay for our stay. The apartment was spacious, comfortable and very clean. The location is ideal for exploring the area and check-in went smoothly. We felt very comfortable here and can highly recommend it.

We had a wonderful day at Karen‘s house nestled in the woods in an old disused quarry. We even spotted some wildlife and an owl. Karen and her husband gave us a warm, friendly welcome and made recommendations of local restaurants and cultural attractions in Dortmund to visit. Karen went above and beyond and also posted me an item that I had forgotten and left at the house.l, which we thought was so kind and thoughtful. The house is in a very quiet, peaceful area so you’re guaranteed a good night sleep. The house is spotlessly clean and comfortable fully equipped kitchen and good shower. Easy access to the city by car or taxi. Also a really good restaurant serving traditional German food a five minute walk from the House called WurstHaus Krämer. I would highly recommend this house and wouldn’t hesitate before staying there again when visiting Dortmund next time.

Everything was just excellent! The apartment is very cozy, clean and exactly as described. The hosts are wonderful – friendly, helpful and attentive. I was there with my children and we felt at home. For me, this was true hospitality and an expression of respect for the guests - something that you don't find everywhere. Everything is thought out in detail to make your stay as pleasant as possible. We were absolutely thrilled and would love to come back if we get the chance. Thank you very much for the warm welcome!

Our far too short time in Vera's small loft was rainy but still incredibly relaxing. We felt right at home thanks to Vera's warm nature. The accommodation is super clean and decorated with visible creativity, love and craftsmanship in all corners. It is really very cozy and, due to the many upcycling and the beautiful location, exceptional and close to nature. Despite the rain, we sat for a long time in the covered outdoor area, watching the cats and ducks and listening to the pouring rain. Lake Baldeney is within walking distance through the beautiful forest and restaurants and supermarkets are also nearby. Thanks to Vera's good description and reliable accessibility, you can find the hidden cottage very well. We will be happy to come back ☀️ Greetings from Cristian and Venice

We felt very comfortable in Dagmar's apartment. The reception was directly friendly and the first time there were discovered numerous things that were left there only for us, as a family with 2 infants. That was incredibly sweet! Thank you very much also for the cute Easter basket! Simply warm and highly recommended all around! We will be happy to come back :)

Our short break at Anja's was really relaxing. The very clean and friendly apartment has everything you need. In addition to the most important kitchen spices, we were greeted by some fruit and even coffee. It won't be everyday. The garden invites you to linger and relax. We will be happy to come back. We had a short but sweet stay. Michael was fantastic. He went out of the way to help us out when we forgot something. The place was clean and cozy. It had everything we needed. Great stay.

Aggi & Lars were very friendly and likeable hosts, the apartment really nice and clean and the location a dream. We felt very comfortable with dog and two toddlers and are happy when we have the opportunity to spend our family vacation there again.

The stay is Bibis and Maltes cabin was great! Check-in was super nice and everything worked smoothly. From the cottage, you can look out into the countryside and have plenty of sun from the early afternoon to the sunset. The sauna is really a highlight and warms you up well when it gets colder in the evening or after a cold shower outside ;) Also the bed was very comfortable. If you are looking for a break in the countryside, this is the place to be.

Our short stay in the accommodation was great, located in the middle of nature with good walking distance to the city. The accommodation offers everything to feel comfortable. I'm sure we'll be back

We enjoyed our stay in the cabin, surrounded by trees and hearing birdsong. Everything was clean and comfortable and was spacious enough for two people. Stephan was really friendly and gave us some nice local recommendations. One downside was the steep ladder-stairs to get to the bedroom; we knew about that in advance but the wooden bar at the top was not great . If you’re tall, it’s not so comfortable. We did some nice walks in the area, and enjoyed sitting on the terrace in the sun

We as a family of four enjoyed our stay (four nights) in this cozy cottage and had a wonderful break there. We found the house in a very clean condition. Everything we needed was there. Also toys for the children, who were also able to let off steam in the garden. The location near Niedersfeld was a very good starting point for various excursions (Hillebachsee, Golden Path, canyon and bridge path, Sauerländer visitor mine). If we spend another getaway in the area, we'd love to come back to this house.
