Pet-friendly holiday rentals in San José Island

Kevin and Erini’s place was so cute, and had a very at home feel. It was very clean and well stocked for guests. We are so satisfied with our stay and will definitely be back again for our next trip.

We had a fantastic stay! The home was clean, cozy, and just as described. The beds were comfortable — we usually wake up with backaches, but we slept great every night here. Communication with the host was excellent from start to finish. They were also accommodating with our request for an early check-in and late check-out, which made our trip so much easier. The boat parking was another big bonus and super convenient. Overall, a great experience — we’d definitely stay again and highly recommend this place!

Loved the location and the cottage. You can see the water from the front porch and the breeze off the water was wonderful. The cottage was clean and the decoration was tasteful. We didn't do a lot of cooking at the cottage but we had everything we needed. Everything was clean and accommodating for us and our pet, including water/food bowls specifically for the dog. Messages from Melissa were timely and easy to follow. Checking in and out was a breeze and I would highly recommend the Spoonbill for anyone wanting to stay close enough to Port Aransas for things to do but also enjoy a quiet, peaceful setting.

We enjoyed our stay & would definitely recommend! The Spanish village rentals are in such a good location and that’s such a plus. Perfect for two people & furry friends.

We arrived it was a secluded area did pass it for a second but we found it. I did have to message to get the code to be able to check in for the day. He was very responsive, communicative, and always got back to me. The only problem we had is the bedroom, felt very warmer than the rest of the house other than that it was stocked with pots and pans, silverware plates, and had a full refrigerator for you to bring your food to stock.

If I were going to set up an Airbnb, it would like and fell like this one.

Great stay with everything my family needed in-between our local explorations 😃 Fast access to the island beaches & close by tasty food spots. The back seating area was a nice place to watch the sunset or even bring in the morning before stepping out for our itenerary. The hosts were very kind to help my family & I check in a little earlier than the check in time as we had groceries with us. We appreciate this stay & will be back 😄

Perfect little get away right by white cap beach! The beach is walkable (about 5 or so minutes) but also a drive up beach so we chose to drive anyways (you do need a permit to park on the beach) Easy 20-30 minute drive to downtown corpus and also padre island seashore. We wanted to explore both while being able to stay on the beach so the location was great! Very clean and comfortable Airbnb. Plenty of restaurants nearby!

We had a peaceful stay in this tiny home. friendly neighbors and kids loved pool and hall… perfect for our fishing trip! God willing we will be back next year 🎣❤️🏠

Great space for a family of 6 adults and 2 kids. Family with kids downstairs allowed privacy and upstairs we enjoyed the extra balcony! Beautiful space right on the water, comfy couches, and overall clean when we walked in. The host was very quick to respond and accommodating when I had questions or concerns. There is no fishing net, so bring your own! We missed a pretty big flounder for not being prepared, but still caught some drum and little reds. Loved being able to fish right off the dock. Only suggestions I have is to add some extra chairs at the dining table because some are missing and the door lock makes a loud noise if you leave it open for too long. Locks on the bedroom doors would allow for more privacy. One cabinet in the kitchen doesn’t close all the way but not a big deal! I would stay again!

What an amazing host for an amazing property! Colleen was an amazing host and provided great instructions for us to get into the property and even left a wonderful welcome gift for us to enjoy. Colleen was very responsive both before and after our stay. What an awesome host! Everything was at least as awesome as the description. Just about anything you could possibly imagine wanting/needing for a beach front stay was provided at the property. From beach furniture to body boards to sand toys to (my personal favorite) even a Star Wars vinal record with Bluetooth record player! The property is a corner condo that is literally less than 100 yards to the ocean shore with access to the beach very close (or you could climb down the beach wall directly in front of the property like we all did). With the patio furniture that was provided, our family enjoyed hanging out and watching people, the seagulls and pelicans, and the wonderful sound of crashing waves. Wish I had more space! :)

This is the second time my husband and I have stayed in one of the Casita‘s here! It’s a beautiful place and we enjoy our time. Rains most the time we were there but it’s OK. Everything was very comfortable inside. We did not know how to work the pool heater so we left it alone.. we will definitely be back to this rental. The next time we get a chance to. Everything was very comfortable.

We loved the beach house. Great location. The house had everything we needed, but we couldn’t pair our phones to the speaker for some reason but we had our own JBL speaker that we used by the pool. Probably user error on our part. We absolutely enjoyed renting a golf cart and driving a couple blocks to the beach. The pool was a hit with my family and having the outdoor shower was very convenient. Overall we would absolutely rent this cute beach house again.

Had a great time. Place was clean and close to the ocean. Place was quiet, bed was comfortable, and the AC worked great. The water pressure was also great. Would visit again.

Our stay was perfect. The cabin was lovely, spotless and comfortable and had everything we needed. The surroundings were peaceful and I felt very safe. There was a gate leading up to the house that we locked at night. Tyler was very responsive to my messages and we would definitely stay here again!

Judy was great! Communication was great. She went out of her way to find some dog friendly restaurants and beaches nearby. We had plenty of room with two people and a doggo. Very close to food, beach, stores. Would recommend to anyone wanting to stay close to the beach!!!

My kids and I had a blast here at the mermaid house. It was clean, not cluttered and the location was quiet and peaceful. The playscape was a bonus. The kids loved it being right next to the house! Hot tubs and pool were both very clean. We will definitely be visiting the mermaid house again.

The Kozy Patch was very beautiful and peaceful. The host Christene was very communicative and kind. When we arrived it was very clean and very "kozy" my family absolutely loved it and would highly recommend.

Rene’s casita is a gem! Just a 5-minute drive to the beach, it’s in an ideal location close to stores and great restaurants. The casita was very clean, with fresh linens and towels provided. The comfortable king size bed made for great nights of rest. Plus, the nice pool (hot tub- was nice but hot Texas weather did not allow me to use it) perfect for relaxing. Nice outdoor seating and view. Gas grill was a plus! I also appreciated the laundry supplies and cookware everything I needed was right at my fingertips. The complimentary coffee was a delightful touch! Rene communicated clearly and quickly, ensuring a smooth stay! This was my first time using Airbnb and Rene has really set the bar high as a host. Highly recommend staying with Rene, Ted, Bobby and Molly! We will definitely be back to Rene’s Casita on the bay!

The place is very well decorated, extremely well appointed (you'll feel right at home, except at the beach!). The bathroom is hotel-like, with everything you might need neatly laid out. They even provide laundry detergent! It's far enough out that you feel like you have some privacy, but everything is a 10 minute drive or less. Jade & Gabby are very responsive should you need anything. I highly recommend staying here! Thanks guys, I very much enjoyed my stay!

Great condo! Location was awesome and we really enjoyed being able to walk out the back door to the dock and fish at our leisure. The space was clean and comfortable and had an air of privacy to it being in the corner of the complex. Lisa was very responsive to any inquires we had. Would definitely stay again!!
