The old romantic, sun flooded house offers diverse use from individuals to large creative groups or families. Papenwohld is the home of the Papenwohld Artist Residency - a non-profit art project founded and run by the hosts. Everything from music festivals, yoga and horse workshops to concerts and art exhibitions have been celebrated here.

High in the north, located on the Schlei and only minutes away from Schlei or Baltic Sea beach, the municipality of Rieseby forms the center of the Schwansen peninsula. Our cozy apartment is located on the ground floor of a well-kept semi-detached house in a quiet residential area. The terrace belonging to the apartment with a view of the countryside is for you alone to relax. Located at the "great width" of the Schlei, the surroundings invite you to explore. It takes less than 15 minutes to get there on foot. Located in the middle of the beautiful cities of Eckernförde and Schleswig, all possibilities are open to you.

Direct proximity to the Schlei and unique view of the water! The adjacent nature reserve offers a great insight into the animal diversity of the area. The Schleiufer is a 10-minute walk. Great circular route! The garden has a play area for the little guests. Another highlight are the chickens living on the farm, which can be easily observed. Various Baltic Sea beaches, as well as the town of Kappeln, are in the immediate vicinity.

Cozy annex/backhouse with a private living area, sleeping space, and kitchenette – perfect for relaxation. Please note: Bathroom, kitchen, and a small gym are located in a separate building just 10 meters away. Outdoor area with a fire pit and grill, peace and quiet. We live on the farm ourselves in case you need anything. An ideal spot for both a weekday escape and focused work.

The train station is only 4 minutes to walk to. From there you can quickly get to Flensburg or, if you want to go in the other direction, also in Eckernförde or Kiel.
