Holiday rentals with beach access in Torridge District

This has to be the best ever beachfront apartment we have stayed in. Spectacular views, spacious balcony, superbly equipped and everything worked without any hassle. The Leisure Club is an added bonus for me - brilliant pool, fitness equipment and the jacuzzi plus the outdoor terrace and restaurant with great meals, especially the (takeaway available too) fish and chips. The purpose of this trip was a holiday for my 94 year old Mother - above all the apartment was very safe/secure, accessible, the few steps to the 1st floor are manageable and the lift means getting into the apartment is easy. Totally recommend this apartment!

A very nice flat with fantastic seaviews. Has everything that you need and the communication with the host was always exemplary.

Proximity to 3 world class beaches.amd seclusion. I only marked down value as I don't agree with the market rate. Its a fair price in an unfair market. Perfect for a quiet getaway. Thanks Jan

Fantastic little spot, 5 mins walk to the harbour 10mins to the center of town. Views were stunning and the photo's and description didn't really do it justice, better than we expected. Perfect spot to explore the North Coast.

Beautfiul apartment in a lovely location. Perfect spot for a few days away with everything you could need within walking distance. Appledore is a lovely place and the apartment made the stay very enjoyable. Great host and very responsive. Will definitely be returning again!

We had a lovely stay at the loft. It was just as described. Beautiful and comfortable. A great little place for a few days away. The little local beach was fab and you’re only a short drive away from lots more things to see and do.

We had a great stay in Woolacombe with our 6 month old. The view from the apartment is better than the photos, so relaxing and the apartment has everything to make your stay really easy and stress free with a little one!

We spent 5 very comfortable nights in this beautiful chalet in order to walk a few sections of the South West Coast path. It was very convenient, being almost on the path, and very close to a reliable bus service along the coast. John and Annie’s place is quiet, private and has a wonderful bright and well furnished lounge, with patio doors out onto a balcony, and views of hills and even the sea. We made good use of the kitchen and found the bed very comfortable. The adjacent parking space was great for unloading. Crackington Haven is a delightful spot, well worth a visit. Johnnie was welcoming and had suggestions for walks. The fresh flowers were a lovely touch. Communication via Bear was excellent. We would definitely recommend May’s Cottage to other couples visiting North Cornwall.

This is a fantastic, secluded spot for a stay in North Devon. Though quiet itself, it's less than 10 minutes' walk to Braunton which has a selection of shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants which Ant helpfully guides with recommendations. The place itself is beautifully done, with a full kitchen, large bedroom and bathroom, and excellent outdoor area for barbecues in addition to a lovely firepit. The landscaping of the gardens is stunning, it's a brilliant place to relax, and Ant is very helpful and responsive if you have any issues or want tips on what to do.

Had a fantastic time staying at Sharon’s place. It was easily accessible and just about managed to fit the car on the drive with the gates closed. Easy to find and local walking distance to the town centre and 3 min walk to the beach. Restaurants close by too! Nice little sun trap on the decking. Nice location to explore local area. Would recommend and would stay again. Maggie enjoyed the dog treats and the toys were a nice bonus - thank you.

The Old Sunday School is incredible. Property: 5* in every way, super clean, lush decor, smells like a spa! parking is right outside. the patio and view are stunning. bathrooms, shower all amazing. comfy bed, lots of storage space. Hosts: Jay and Lisa are lovely, they are next door but not imposing at all. super helpful and knowledgeable, we enjoyed chatting to them. Leonard is obviously the most important one and he is adorable! Area: the field below the patio was superb for our 2 black labradors, just a short walk away is a woodland walk, just magical in the early morning sunshine. short drive are some lovely country parks and places to eat. the super generous welcome gifts were very much enjoyed. we can't wait to book a return visit.

Annie was a great host! Would definitely recommend for any couples wanting to get a break away. Out the back is very private and quiet. Lots of things are within walking distance of the annexe so you will barely need your car! Bude is a beautiful part of Cornwall with loads of restaurants and walks. The annex was very well presented and was the perfect size! If we are ever in Bude again we will defiantly stay at ‘Out the back’

Eddie’s by the sea is the perfect get away! Lovely decor and very clean. What a great location by the sea. Shaun and Mel were great in terms of communication and they had thought of everything you need whilst away. Lovely high power shower and the fudge on arrival was a nice touch too. Great for a family or friends get away! Thank you

One word … lush!! What a beautiful spot, it felt like we were in the middle of nowhere, yet still so close to lovely beaches, scenic walks, and plenty of things to do. I could have happily moved into the cottage, it was absolutely perfect. We were welcomed with thoughtful gifts of fresh bread, eggs and cake, which was such a lovely touch. I’m going to miss sipping my wine on the sun trap terrace listening to the sheep. Would love to book to visit again soon.

Amazing bnb near Bude. If you’re looking for a break that is peaceful, private and reasonably priced, look no further. Jill was really helpful, leaving great recommendations for the surrounding area and was very responsive to any questions we had. Stibb is slightly outside of Bude so a car is essential to get around, however the bnb is well worth it. Great stay, will definitely be recommending to family and friends.

Just had 4 nights stay in this beautiful apartment with amazing views. It’s modern, clean, well equipped and very comfortable. We would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great stay in this area.

Great place to stay, 2nd time for us, great views and 5 mins walk to centre and beach, apartment is lovely, everything you need and very clean and comfortable, we have dogs so it’s great there is a porch to clean them off and also a bit of outside space for them in the morning, will definitely book here again.

We were lucky enough to spend seven days in Beth's beautiful apartment. Now we say goodbye with a smile and a tear in our eye. The tear in our eye says "time to say goodbye," even though we don't want to leave just yet. The smile in our eye expresses our enthusiasm for our stay. We received a warm welcome; we lacked nothing. Beth has thought of everything. The apartment is a dream. And so is the view from the terrace. You could spend hours there, unwinding and watching the hustle and bustle on the beach. If you don't know Perranporth, you should definitely visit this little town. But even if you want to come back again, you should let this accommodation convince you. Apartment was lovely, as described and a good location for exploring Ilfracombe and surrounding areas. It is an apartment in a block, so we could hear the apartment above and while we were there, they were very noisy. Local pubs and restaurants were very good and only a short drive to Woolacombe beach, well worth a visit. Communication from Shirley was excellent.

The view from the apartment was captivating, even when it was raining! We loved Looe and all its great places to eat and lovely beach to chill out on, everything was very easy to get too. The highlight was the coastal walk into Polperro which was very quaint and chock full of pasty shops. Highly recommend this place if you want a central location.

We had a great time at Christopher’s apartment. It was spacious and clean in a great location with a sea view and close to the town centre. 10/10 would recommend.

Absolutely loved our few days in Croyde, despite the rain! The apartment was perfect, private, clean and had everything we needed. The bed was huge and incredibly comfortable, the beach and town a short walk away, and Biffen’s food truck was a daily stop for us. We will definitely be back asap.
