Beautiful location and very empathic host!! What more can you ask.. Don't think twice about booking your caravan in Pure & Rustic.. You won't regret this decision even a bit!! We (my 2 year old, my hubby, myself and our in laws (above 60) loved the experience and can't get wait to go back again!

Carol and Richard are absolutely superb hosts! Being extremely grateful for their recommendations along a lot of useful tips. They are both extremely welcoming. It was pure joy for our boys to ride one of their wonderful donkeys, Jerry. There is great play room for the whole family. A lot of great locations to visit nearby. 5 Stars and 110% Satisfactory. Beyond our highest expectations. Also there is a plenty of privacy and beautiful, peaceful surroundings. Also there is a Cider farm conveniently next door. We will be definitely returning! PS: All our boys are asking for another stay with Carol and Richard already, only a day after return home:)

It was simply amazing and such a privilege to stay in a converted Victorian carriage. It’s all very laid back and friendly and you are not interferes with in anyway but the hosts are easy to find if you need them. A must for a train lover. The carriage was clean and though fully furnished with the added luxury of fresh flowers and a welcome pack. We will definitely be recommending

Fantastic night away in a quirky interesting space !!!! Full of original items such as the original radio which our children danced to 💃💃💃 The fairy garden and pigs were the most perfect addition for our children aged 6 & 8 Accommodation was spacious with plenty of room for us all Enjoyed the fire pit when the sun went down Beautiful spot with plenty of wildlife !!!!!! Definitely visit this place you won’t be disappointed!!!!

It’s pure and rustic. Does what it says on the can. A brilliant two nights with nature and little distraction. Superb location. Fab considerate host. outside cooking, basic caravan, no frills and having a new life for the folk who don’t want the dressing up, in any shape or form. Chilled if you ...Just want to relax, at a good price, with nice people. Loved it.

I really enjoyed my time here in this Van. Dartington Estate where it is located is stunning and a great place to be with amazing walks all around, and very close to Totnes. The van was clean, comfortable and had all I needed, and Jonny was super helpful if i ever needed anything.

Had a really lush time. Very generous with the wood for a fire and clean space. Already want to go back.

Sadly I couldn't stay in the end but Jim & Sarah were very helpful and communicative all the same

We have been quite lucky to have experienced a lot of different airbnbs around the world but there is only one our girls still talk about every single week, and that's the Big Hoot. A rare and genuinely magical place, looked after with care and creativity.

we had a lovely few days, location was perfect and close to where we wanted to visit. Mark was really friendly and helpful & the hut was beautiful and peaceful. Would definitely recommend and return

Anne and Jonathan have created something very special and are such gracious and attentive hosts! We spent a blissful long weekend enjoying the incredible meadowland and peaceful surroundings. We were two families of 4, and we had 2 acres of land, including two small lakes which you could kayak and row on, completely to ourselves. There was an amazing treehouse with dress up and the children (between the ages of 2-8) had an absolute blast. Even with the odd rain shower or two there were plenty of places to shelter, including a purpose built barn with a cosy wood stove. Everything you could possibly need for a relaxing stay is provided, even fun outdoor games and toys for the children. It was also great to have the option for the non- tent campers to decamp to the cosy caravan when the weather made tent camping a bit of a trial, and even to rent a room in the house nearby. Honestly, we would highly recommend booking this gem of a place! You won’t regret it!

We had a truly wonderful time at Andrew’s place - it felt both completely private and incredibly safe. As a single mother, that sense of security is one of the things I value most, and this spot absolutely delivered. The views were breathtaking, and just being there helped me properly unwind and detox from the pace of city life. Andrew was so welcoming.. he kindly carried all our things down and gave us a helpful tour of how everything worked. After that, we were left to enjoy the space in peace, which was exactly what we want. We had some amazing BBQs, played games, shared lovely dinners and drinks, and my dog loved it. Staying in the tent was such a fun and unique experience, and the bed was comfy, beautifully soft linen that made it feel extra special. Thank you so much, Andrew, for having us. Me and my hubby had a lovely stay at the hut we had a great evening with the firepit and had a bbq . There was horses in the fields adjacent to look at .The only thing I wasn't to pleased about that there was no complimentary logs for the wood burner supplied as othe huts do supply these in with the price . No whatever time of the Yr. Good job we brought our own with us . Yet still a nice hut and had a great day .

Having stayed in Westward Ho! many times over the years Kerry’s was definitely the best accommodation by far. She has provided everything you could possibly need plus so much more. We certainly felt at home. The site was lovely too, well maintained and peaceful. Can’t wait to stay again!!

We had a fabulous 3 night stay in Joseph the coach! Was so cool & quirky. The grounds were beautiful & very peaceful. We completely fell in love with the Donkeys… Especially Costello as he was the smallest but defo the leader!!! Such affection donkeys, they literally put their face on your shoulder for cuddles. The alpacas were more shy but equally adorable! Hartland is a beautiful area and we got an incredible sunset at Hartland Quay. We def are going to return & will be telling family & friends! Might try Bertram’s hotel bus next!!! Five star ⭐ campsite

Our stay was pleasant and peaceful. Accommodation was as described and clean , separate fully equipped bathroom only for our use was a nice add on. Dani and Chris was always on the standby to help , yet not intruding our stay. Thank you Dani and Chris !!!

Our second visit to Bex's caravan and really enjoyed it. The caravan location is fab, with a 5 min walk to beach and 20 min to pub couldn't ask for more! Updates to the interior since last year were appreciated. As surfers we also appreciated the outside hose and ample space to hang wetsuits outside to dry. Can't recommend Bex's place enough!

Just got home from the most wonderful stay at the big blue. We didn’t want to leave. Absolutely beautiful space. Everything we could need and more. Two minutes from a shop, 15 from Polzeath beach (and lots of other beaches) great location, not that we wanted to leave!! Homemade cake and little extras like milk and cooking essentials were so appreciated. Spotlessly clean, the wood fire hot tub was a real treat, outdoor shower fantastic, stunning scenery, bed was super comfy and lovely soft sheets. The hosts were very welcoming, aloud us our privacy yet were very attentive if needed. Fire pit / bbq, swing chair, bath robes, coffee grinder, so many lovely add-ons which contributed to a very enjoyable stay. We would 100% love to return. A real luxury! My partner and I had a fantastic two night stay over at Buttercup. Ideally located only a short distance away from lovely Morgan Porth and quaint Padstow. Buttercup is close to the hustle and bustle, however provides the opportunity to be able to switch off away from it all at the end of the day. Good communication throughout with Barbara and the caravan its self was very clean/tidy. Kind regards, Ellie & Adam

peaceful place to stay with so much space to run around, fly kites and play Frisbee. The compost toilet was a challenge to some, but we soon got the hang of it!! the swallow nest with two babies who fledged while we were there was the highlight, and the open air shower and bath was also a winner. thankyou for sharing the quirky caravans with us.

Great accommodation - very peaceful location but still within walking distance of a pub - with some bonus features; very well equipped kitchen, lovely outdoor seating area, super hot tub Great hosts - welcoming and loaded with very useful local info - we wouldn't have had a lovely afternoon tipple at the local vineyard (do not miss!) without! Double thumbs up for the airstream if you're thinking of staying in the area

Fantastic place to stay to be immersed in nature and to get away from it all. Lovely hilly woodland glade with springs and river running close by. I found the roads good for cycling. Beautiful area, and private, cosy wagon with everything there including towels, cooking area, running water, compost loo, outdoor hot shower and bath. Lots to go out and see in the area too.
