Trewhiddle Villa 25

AndrewRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Lovely villa. Very modern and spacious, clean and comfortable. Katie was proactive in emailing an information pack prior to the arrival date, and on hand to answer any questions. The staff on site were tremendously helpful at all times. The kids loved the playing field and we appreciated the various sports equipment available to use. Brilliant location as well, handy for local beaches as well as Eden Project, Fowey, Falmouth, Looe and Mevagissey, all of which we visited during the week. Special mention to Charlestown which is a 7-minute drive away, and a lovely small harbour setting with pop-up bars, stalls and The Longstore serving up a 5-star meal when we visited in the evening. Highly recommended for families visiting Cornwall.

Large 4 bedroom Villa (11) in quiet location

JenniferRating, 5 stars6 days ago
The villa (11) was amazing, clean and big enough for 7 adults. The people on reception couldn’t help enough and were so friendly. I would highly recommend. We had a few issues but nothing that stopped us enjoying the villa. We asked for early check in, I was told to ask 2 weeks before the holiday, then I was told to ask one week before the holiday and then a few days before the holiday. We were then told early check in was at 1pm, then was told it was 2pm. They did let us in at 1pm, it was a faff being told the wrong time originally and having to keep emailing to see if we could have an early check in. The smaller bedroom upstairs didn’t have anywhere to hang our clothes as the wardrobe was locked with a sign saying owners cupboard. There were 2 small drawers in each bedside table that just fit our knickers socks etc in. There were no shelves in the main bathroom. The handle in the main bedroom kept sticking locking my mum inside the bedroom.

We had a lovely time here, the house was exactly as described, very peaceful and well equipped. Space for 2 cars right outside. The beds were comfy and the on site staff were really helpful even when I had a ‘moment’ and couldn’t put up a travel cot!! Highly recommended!

Spacious 4 Bedroom Villa, South Cornwall (Villa 4)

MichaelRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Ideal location for our pre-wedding stay. We were a group of 4 adults and 2 children and the property had plenty of space for comfortable interaction and, when required, privacy. Communication with agents was spot on. Would recommend.

Rose Cottage, dog friendly, Appledore

LizRating, 5 stars47 months ago
Rose Cottage is a lovely, old fashioned, quirky cottage - with lots of interesting objet d’art to discover throughout your time there. I loved how it is tucked away from the street, making it a really private space. Danielle was really informative about the surrounding areas and was on hand for queries. The living space downstairs is really relaxing (two of us learnt how to play chess in the lounge!) The outdoor space is really valuable as, I should imagine, in Appledore having a big garden is a real treat. The location is amazing - a minute’s stroll down to the quay - with the wonderful local shop, John’s, a stone’s throw away. We had fantastic weather, having lots of hot beach days in Croyde and Saunton Sands, but also loved catching the 5 minute ferry across to Instow village and beach. The attics bedrooms were a little warm (it was a very hot week), but Danielle kindly provided us with a fan which certainly helped on the top floor. Appledore is a magical place with beautiful cottages, great restaurants and Sylvester’s fish and chips are scrumptious - the first time I think I have ever managed to eat a whole battered cod! Thanks Danielle for a truly wonderful week’s holiday with the family.

antonia's pearls, marine villa

DalalRating, 5 stars23 months ago
Marine Villa is an absolute gem! From the exquisite decor and attention to detail to the enchanting garden, it's truly one of the most beautiful Airbnbs we've had the pleasure of staying in. The thoughtful addition of a box of train tracks for the kids to play with, the cozy fire that kept us warm at night, and the amazingly comfortable beds made our stay truly delightful. Antonia was an exceptional host, going above and beyond to ensure our visit was nothing short of perfection. We hope we have the pleasure of visiting again! I cannot recommend this Airbnb enough! Thank you again Antonia and David for your hospitality!

Myrtle Cottage in Appledore near Quay

BruceRating, 5 stars44 months ago
A madcap feast for the eyes! If you want a standard Airbnb filled full of IKEA then this place isn’t for you. If you want an authentic (and original) experience in a great location - then book it. Open fires, art, antiques, the sea all make up the DNA of Appledore and typify Myrtle Cottage as a microcosm of North Devon’s prettiest fishing village (that you don’t have to pay to visit!)

6 bed Victorian Villa with Sea Views sleeps 15

GemmaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Great accommodation for large family. Walkable distance to Ilfracombe centre. Shops, walks, beach, activities in town centre. Ilfracombe is a picturesque place, we went to Combe Martin dinosaur and wildlife park and Watermouth Castle while visiting and had a great time. Paula was very friendly and accommodating and the place quirky, fun and clean.

Exceptional Detached House with Stunning Sea Views

What an amazing house, very comfortable, stunning views and very close to the beach. I would say the house, views and garden space are better than the photos. Our young grandchildren loved the freedom of the patio area and lawns.

Treventon is a beautiful house that provides a homely atmosphere, but with some intriguing art work and design features. The kids loved the garden and the games room. Although there ws 11 of us, we always felt there was space and nver felt like we were on top of each other. Viva was very helpful and knowledgeable on the local amenities and wider area. We had a lovely week, thank you!

Gorgeous, stylish longhouse.Dogs and kids welcome.

PaulRating, 5 stars2 months ago
We loved its quirkiness, but Weeke Barton is an old building with uneven floors and low ceilings and spiral staircases which were a challenge. The stairs didn’t defeat us, but they are tricky. The rooms are warm even when a log fire is needed, which is recommended, and the beds are very comfy. All the bedrooms are great and full of history and character, which is the same for the whole of Weeke Barton. The location is also ideal for exploring Dartmoor, for riverside running and good food pubs. There is enough to do locally when it rains, and perfect walks for when it’s sunny. Thanks to Jo and Sam for the local information and Winston for the entertainment.
