Apartment holiday rentals in West Dorset District

A lovely couple of nights here. It’s a really beautiful apartment, lovely decor and very clean. We we able to walk to the beach, the town and the ferry port where we got the boat over to Brownsea Island. There’s also a corner shop and Tesco express 5 min walk away!

We had a great stay. The flat was as described and well set up for a toddler. There were even toys to play with.

Walking distance to Westbourne and its charms. 5 mins drive from the stunning beach at Alum chine. I do not hesitate to recommend this fabulous apartment. Thank you Greta

We enjoyed staying in the apartment, which was comfortable and well equipped. The location meant it was an excellent base for exploring Weymouth and beyond. Anna was a very helpful and welcoming host.

The Coach house is a great place to stay if you want a beach or walking holiday however, a big plus for us was being able to use the garage for our car. The accomodation has everything needed for a relaxing stay, a comfortable bed, good kitchen and two smart TVs. We found it remarkably quiet at night. Most of the restaurants are around a mile walk away in Swanage but there's a pub and hotel nearby (the latter I believe serves non residents). Access to the beach on foot is quick down a couple of paths one (through the grounds of a hotel) down some steps, the other, down a steepish path: There are two beach bars at the bottom. Graham has an interesting quirky standard lamp with a nautical theme in the lounge.

We had an amazing stay, the apartment is beautiful and in such an amazing location. Our kids loved being able to walk to the beach and playground, and we loved having a great coffee shop 30 seconds away. The living room was great for a slump on the sofa after a busy day. Parking at the pub worked well. Thanks for a great stay!

Had 4 lovely nights at Nicole's place. very clean and beautifully maintained. this property is in a great place too. 5 mins walk to two great pubs with lovely food. 2 minute walk to a path down to the beach. take a left towards Bournemouth and Boscombe which we did 11 miles walked that day! and a right towards the Sandbanks. There you can catch a chain ferry to Studland beach. 🥰 I would definitely recommend staying here. you won't be disappointed. great stay! Thank you Nicole 😊

Such a fantastic place to stay with great hosts too!! It was only a short walk to the beach and to the shops which was perfect for our family. But it was equally wonderful to be able to sit in the flat and look out at the stunning view of the sea too. It definitely felt like a home away from home! Thank you Louis!

Fabulous flat. Described perfectly by Jus. Very clean beautiful interior. Everything you need. Loved the little extras like shampoo and conditioner and shower gel in bathrooms. Very comfy beds. Short walk to the end of the road to the beach. We brought our dog. He was well looked after with doggy treats and a fabulous dog friendly beach awaited. Even shorter walk to the high street with great restaurants. Jus is a great communicator and nothing was too much bother. Thoroughly recommend we’ll be back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Anchors Away apartment which was tastefully decorated, spotless and very comfortable. The hot tub was an added bonus which afforded a wonderful sea view and also a delightful view of the occasional steam engine chugging along the picturesque Somerset Heritage Railway line. This is a lovely tranquil spot from which to explore the many attractions of Somerset, Exmoor and North Devon

Great base as we were in town for a cheerleading competition for our daughter. 2 well sized rooms with double beds lovely spacious lounge and a kitchen with everything you need. 5 min walk down to boscombe beach and pier with a few nice bars and restaurants local to us and a quick taxi to the BIC and main Bournemouth beach area. All clean, absolutely no issues. Thank you!

A hidden gem! We only had a quick overnight stay but it ticked all the boxes for us. Spotlessly clean, tastefully decorated, an amazingly well equipped kitchen diner and such comfortable beds with pristine bedding. The property is in the middle of the town but with it's beautiful roof garden, it had an air of tranquility and we had no noise disturbance at all, even though it was a bank holiday weekend. Ruth provided detailed directions beforehand and a warm welcome on arrival and some helpful recommendations for somewhere to eat that evening. A great host - thank you for our stay.

The place and location was perfect for what we wanted. The area is naturally beautiful. Their was plenty to do in the area and other great places to go and visit are in reach if your willing to drive a little way. The only issue or maybe a blessing is outside of the wi fi of the property getting a signal for your phone is next to impossible. I see that as a good thing as it forces you to switch off. Nice walks around the property which we used aswell.

Absolutely charming accommodation. Really spacious and well laid out. Felt like home away from home, could have stayed here for longer and will definitely look into coming back here. Lovely walk to the nearest pub for lunch, the mill is right on the river with Stunning views of the surrounding area. Nice garden area with views of the cows in the field. The hot water was extremely hot so be careful, but it was nice to always have plenty of hot water for washing and showering. Overall a lovely private place to stay.

Really enjoyed our stay! The location itself is enough of a selling point, with the quality of the accommodation itself as an added bonus. Very spacious, comfortable beds, very welcoming. And a great collection of games and books. Highly recommended :)

We have stayed here a number of times and are always made to feel very welcome. Philippa is a wonderful and friendly host. You can’t beat the location with gorgeous sea views close to the beach, pubs and sailing facilities! There is a spacious kitchen diner fully equipped and ample free parking available.

We had a wonderful stay. The place was clean and well-equipped, and felt like home. The check-in was smooth, and John was very responsive. The location was perfect, making it easy to explore the area. Highly recommend, and I’d definitely stay again!

We spent 6 days in an excellent accommodation and the facilities in the hotel were great. Our host was very helpful and supportive if we had any questions. We would definitely highly recommend this apartment.

Had a fantastic stay, great facilities, master bed was so comfortable, indoor pool was warm and hot tub was preheated when we arrived. Peaceful, private break and would stay again

The place was just like in the photos, great attention to details and very clean. We felt very comfortable. There are clear instructions for self check-in and the bonus is that Matt is really involved and caring about his guests.

Only stayed 2 nights but enjoyed our stay. We used the pool which was lovely. The local pub was nice and the food was great. The accommodation was very comfortable and had everything we needed.

My parents had an amazing one-month stay at Laura’s Airbnb! The apartment was exactly as described. Clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. The location was perfect, close to local shops, restaurants, and public transportation, which made exploring the area so easy. Laura was incredibly welcoming, quick to respond to any questions. Beautiful and peaceful setting. The pool and activities room and playgrounds were wonderful. You could book private sessions in the pool although we also found the communal sessions generally weren’t busy and we often had the pool to ourselves. It was perfect for our daughter as it wasn’t too deep which really helped her build confidence at swimming. We loved playing table tennis and badminton with our older child while the plentiful toys (especially the pedal tractor) kept the little one very happy! Lots to do in the surrounding area, although the peaceful/remote location meant they were all a fair drive away. Apartment was as pictured. It had everything we needed and was always warm- important for October half term break!
