Kid-friendly holiday rentals in West Lake Hills

Not the first time staying at the property, had a great time as before. place was super clean which is unusual for AIRBNB's and that area is great.

Lucas and Nickol were by far the most responsive and proactive hosts I've ever dealt with. Consistent communication, checking in often, and extremely flexible. Wish more hosts were like this! The house itself is beautiful and a perfect getaway if you're looking for privacy. Thank you again!

We had a great stay at this home and really appreciated how communicative the host was-always quick to respond to any questions. The home felt very “lived in,” which we actually appreciated for a kid-friendly stay. The photos were accurate overall, though the exterior was more overgrown than expected and the trampoline looked a bit “play at your own risk.” That said, our kids had an amazing time with the seemingly endless toys, and it was a huge relief not having to bring bulky items like a stroller or a Pack ‘n Play, since they’re here. The beds were very comfortable, the A/C kept us cool during a hot Austin weekend, and having a good washer/dryer made life easier. The location is definitely a strong point—easy access to some great local spots, including Launderette and Bufalina, both of which we’d highly recommend. Check-out was simple. Our only real suggestion would be a deeper cleaning refresh to match the overall comfort and utility. This place is equipped for families!

Mark was a great host and the place was so convenient to my gym and my work. It was exactly what i needed. Great neighborhood and great location. I would definitely stay again.

Perfect house with plenty of space for our group of 6! John's house was exactly as pictured - extremely nice, spacious and with a gorgeous backyard. The house itself is in a quiet, residential neighborhood which was great for our group as spent most of our weekend at the house enjoying the backyard and pool. We were never more than a 20 minute Uber to great restaurants and all the popular tourist areas. Highly recommend staying here and would love to come back. John was a great host!

Beautiful house. Near a lot of restaurants and the Barton springs pool. FYI the house its the size of 1 bedroom apartment, has only 1 bedroom. But it has a mini sofa bed, plus a pull up couch and a regular bed. It has everything that you need for your stayed. The back yard its very fun. It has a hot tub, mini golf, soccer nets. Overall it was worth the stayed

Our stay at Michael’s place was great. A cozy second story unit with nicely updated en-suite bathrooms and an open living area in the center. The bedrooms were great for all family members and the kitchen / dining area were great for our meals there. Overall very happy with our stay!

Wonderful place to stay in Barton Hills, peaceful and quiet surrounded by trees. Walkable to barton springs and close to south lamar. Mary's place is very comfortable with plenty of thoughtful amenities. Would highly recommend.

Great stay! I loved the location the most with easy access to any part of Austin as well as a running/biking trail right across the street. Would book again when I need a quick trip to Austin.

Lovely place to stay! It's exactly as pictured and described, the neighborhood is fantastic, and the hosts are very helpful and friendly.

Had a great time here, the area was peaceful and the on-site parking was specially useful as a car is a must in Austin. Tobin is responsive and was able to fix any issues quickly, as well as giving useful recommendations.

Sonia’s place was absolutely amazing, honestly, even more beautiful in person. The moment you walk in, it smells great and feels so cozy, perfect for two people. Everything was super clean and well taken care of. Sonia was incredibly kind and let my mom and I check in early, plus she was super responsive and friendly throughout our stay. The location was perfect, such a beautiful area and super close to everything. Our Ubers to downtown were only $5–$7! Definitely planning to stay here again next time we’re in Austin. 100/100, thank you for such a wonderful stay! 🥰

I enjoyed my stay in Lucy’s place; it was well-stocked with necessary items to use during the stay. She was very responsive and proactive in figuring out a solution anything that needed attention. We had a wonderful stay at Cannon’s place. The location is fantastic with easy and quick access to Barton Springs pool and trails. The studio has all the necessary amenities, is quiet and secure , and has a convenient local store next door. Perfect for a long weekend. Would book again.

The Villa and the facility were very nice and comfortable. The choice of nearby restaurants and markets is sparse to say the least. The onsite Island Grill is only open from Thursday afternoon -Sunday afternoon. Also, if you're hoping for a nearby upscale eatery, don't bother, it's not there. That said, we had a lovely time. Boat rentals are close. Drive slowly near the facility surroundings. Deer are everywhere in the afternoons and evening.

We enjoyed our stay at this Airbnb. It was perfect for our little family. Easy access to Zilker, South Lamar and South Congress area. The bed was my favorite. I slept so well on that particular mattress. The place was easy to find and check-in was a breeze! Highly recommend this place to all travelers!

I would be happy to stay here again. To use the parking spot I advise backing in from the street rather than backing out to the street (narrow driveway), but there is everything I needed here, it was quiet, and I slept very well!
