Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Woodfin

We booked our stay while having work done at our home and it ended up being the perfect retreat. We worked remotely for a few days — I used the upstairs bedroom and desk as my office while my husband worked downstairs, which worked out great. The kitchen was impressively well-stocked (pro tip: take inventory before heading to the grocery store!). The decor is beautiful and all the plants made the place so bright! Mornings on the porch with coffee and mountain views were a peaceful way to start the day. We also loved exploring the charming town of Black Mountain. We hope to have the chance to return! Luke and Olessia were awesome hosts and very responsive to our questions.

Perfect location for girl's getaway. Screened in porch for lounging or eating with breeze, trees, and birdsong. House very comfortable and full of everything you need to chill. Great access to exploring Asheville and it's surroundings.

We absolutely loved staying in this house - it was so cozy and charming, the fireplace kept us warm, it was a quiet location, super clean. The kitchen had everything and more. Lots of extra linens and towels. And we were pleasantly surprised to find a cabinet full of kids toys, books, and games that our little one was so thrilled about. Perfect spot for a family getaway.

This place was an absolute gem. It was really, REALLY clean. I think the hosts emphasize how much they clean, and it really shows. It was conveniently located to Asheville. Definitely recommend staying here!!!

This house is amazing: A spa-like retreat with lots to do and many places to relax! We brought our teen daughter and friends and they fell in love with the place! Instead of going out in Asheville the second night, they stayed in to enjoy the hot tub, the red light sauna, the fire pit, and the cozy basement “theater”. Located close to Asheville and Weaverville. We loved the location, but more so, the house itself! Owners were very responsive and helpful!

Very cute and immaculate cabin in the woods just 20 minutes outside of the city of Asheville. Easy drive to restaurants, activities and hiking. It had all the amenities you would need & comfy beds! Matilda was very responsive to questions prior to visit and throughout our stay. We enjoyed the binder of suggested restaurants and breweries, Matilda provided. We throughly enjoyed sitting out on the patio in the morning and evening listening to nature and drinking a cup of coffee. We even got to see some deer and a black bear on our last day! I would love to come and stay again if I’m in the area.

We thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay in Asheville! The Rondette is situated in a peaceful neighborhood just a few minutes from downtown. The house is super clean and comfortably furnished. Many thanks to our hosts for proving all the essentials and a few extras. We loved the coffee/tea station!

This is a beautiful home and great for families. We would easily stay here again and again when visiting my sister. It was perfect for our family of four and one night had my mother stay as well. It was a great space for all of us to be in without feeling crowded and there were tons of things for the kids to do. The beds were very comfortable even on my bad back!

Paul’s place was the perfect base for some hiking in the area. Paul was a great host. We had everything we needed especially a quiet spot to unwind and rest.

Me and my friend visited for my birthday and this listing was perfect! The bed was amazing, the space was very nice and clean, and the location was perfect for our activities! Very quiet and comfortable :) My only regret was not coming while the garden was in bloom! Will definitely be back to stay again and see it in it’s full glory though.

Such a beautiful place with a view. We stayed for the weekend and had what we needed for the next morning without have to go out the first evening. Although we had places we planned to eat, there were lots of great suggestions in her notebook. Would definitely recommend if in the area.

Exquisite furnishings, comfort and quality of linens and bedding. A wall of windows looking out to gorgeous forest and sunset views. Walking distance to Grovepark Inn providing exercise, shopping and dining accommodations within steps of the woodland basement apartment.The fireplace in winter and outdoor patio in summer are lovely. Bear sightings are assured! Owners are nearby if needed but non intrusive. Quiet location. Best Airbnb in all our travels and definitely best place in Asheville. Appreciated the full-sized refrigerator, dishwaher, microwave and toaster oven for light cooking.

Leslie’s place was absolutely perfect for our stay! The space was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully arranged, making us feel right at home. One of the highlights was the stunning mountain views, complete with chairs on the porch where we could sit, relax, and take it all in. Watching the sunset while using the grill to make our BBQ was an unforgettable experience! Leslie was incredibly accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed. The location was also ideal—just 25 minutes away from Ride Kanuga and Rock Creek MTB trails, and only 10 minutes from Publix for quick shopping. To top it off, there’s a fantastic coffee shop just 5 minutes away that serves the best croissants I’ve ever tried! The peacefulness of the property added to the charm—it’s a quiet and serene place to unwind. The beds were super comfortable, ensuring we got restful sleep during our entire stay. Such a nice little spot to stay! I loved the little extras, from the basket of snacks and the espresso, to the robes and slippers provided, the hosts go above to make sure you feel comfortable. I would highly recommend this place if you want to be very close to downtown but want a quiet place to retreat to at the end of the day. You can’t beat the location and the affordability! My husband and I were so happy with our stay at Judy and Maria’s tranquil home. Everything from the creek to the hot tub and relaxing living space were perfect. My husband enjoyed fishing in such a great spot, and I enjoyed watching the ducks with their little ducklings, and the hummingbirds that visited often. 😊 We spent plenty of time relaxing, but also enjoyed the close proximity to good restaurants and shopping, and hiking. Casa Paz is in such a convenient and beautiful location. For good food we recommend Chef’s Table and Haywood Smokehouse in Waynesville, and Twisted Spoke in Maggie Valley. The place was very easy to find and Judy and Maria were very responsive with any question we had while we were there. Highly recommend a stay here!!

Our group loved this house! So many unique spaces to enjoy — but especially the patio off the livingroom overlooking the mountain, where we had coffee in the morning sun, or dinner in the evening shade. Would definitely recommend!

Alex & Josh were great host! Communicated clear & easy check in and check out instructions and were check in with us throughout our stay. The cabin itself was beautiful and clean, it was stocked with everything we needed pretty much in the kitchen and bathrooms. There were little chocolates on all the beds when we arrived, there were all different types of towels, to bathe, pool towels even make up towels which was , little thoughtful details we appreciated. The location was really great! My boyfriend and I were able to do a bunch of hikes near by but also be close enough to enjoy the downtown Asheville area. Overall we really enjoyed our stay, would definitely return!

Highly recommend this place! We rented it for a bridal/bachelorette party weekend for five women, and it was marvelous! Early instructions about check in were informative. We lived in the hot tub. When there was an issue on Friday evening, we contacted the host who responded within the hour. Kitchen worked great for our personal French cooking lesson. We had a blast playing pool downstairs. And oh how the beds were comfortable, with great sheets to boot! Great views out the living room and kitchen to enjoy your morning coffee. What a great place!

We loved our stay. We loved contributing to the economy in the recovery efforts of your charming city. Home met all of our needs. Very well appointed and comfortable. Easy to find. Lot of great things to do today close by.

Wendy waited for us for check in at night and was always available when we needed something. The place was better than the pictures. Beautifull views and really clean. golf cart was fun and games room in clubhouse kept us entertained in rainy days. beautiful community and people

Great space! Very CLEAN. Beautiful location. Adam was very responsive to questions. Home is private and picturesque yet a short drive to downtown Weaverville and Asheville. The home WiFi uses older encryption (TKIP) but I was able to use my cellphone as a hotspot for school/work. Personal devices connected to the WiFi fine. Both AT&T and Verizon cellular networks have strong signal here. This was minor and did not deter from our enjoyment of the residence or the trip itself. We had a wonderful time, and would return.

I can't really say enough but here's a brief synopsis. Beautiful, very private, cozy, clean, responsive, helpful host, plenty of extra thoughtful touches, fantastic views from every part of house. Firewood and even some good food is provided. Everything you could need or want and even things you wouldn't think of. You will not be disappointed.
