The old shoemaker's hut by the castle lake

Welcome to the old shoemaker's cottage in Gråsten. Here you can stay in the shoemaker's old workshop - a charming cabin gently and rustically renovated with respect for the unique history and soul of the house. From the garden you can enjoy the view of the castle lake. The cabin is 56 m2 and contains entrance hall, new kitchen, bathroom, family room/living room as well as two bedrooms with a total of four sleeping places. There is a heat pump and room for a baby cot in one bedroom. We will provide fresh ground coffee. Please bring towels and sheets

Bright and delicious home on 2 levels. The property is beautifully close to Nybølnor. The home is connected to Nybølnorstien, and close to Gendarmstien. There is a private terrace and garden with a fire pit. There are many opportunities for hiking and cycling, both in the forest and by the beach. Gråsten Castle 7 km. The brickwork museum "Cathrines Minde" 5 km. Dybbøl Mølle and Historiecenter "1864" 8 km. Sønderborg 10 km. Univers 25 km. Flensborg 20 km. Shopping 3 km. Good beach 6 km. You have easy access to everything from this perfectly located base in the old town in the middle of Sønderborg. The apartment is a stone's throw from the city's cozy cafes and restaurants along the waterfront, shopping and shopping. Walking distance to Sønderskoven and Gendarmstien, a trip to the beach, or maybe a dip in the new harbor basin. WATERFRONT APARTMENT, BEATYFULLY LOCATED – CLOSE TO ODENSE CENTER - Free parking and bikes available. Located above the ground floor and is done in a personalized scandinavian style with calm colors and a lot of light. Private entrance from a staircase/balcony, view to forest and water. The apartment is fully furnished. Two bedrooms, spacious bathroom and a integrated kitchen/ living room. We live in the ground floor and are reachable at any time. City center is a ten minutes bike ride away.

Guesthouse (annex) 15 m2 with a two-person bed and bathroom with shower. 32" flatscreen with cable tv. Wi-Fi. No kitchen, but a fridge/freezer, plates, microwave, toaster, coffee/teaboiler and BBQ grill (outside). Small table and 2 chairs + one extra comfortable chair. Terrace with grill is avalible just outside the door. Pets are Welcome. There is free parking in the driveway at the adress. Bikes kan be parked at covered terrasse. 5 minutes walking distance from lake park and city centre.

Good opportunities for fishing. In January/February 2026, the living room will be slightly changed. The living room will be divided into two rooms. A living room and a bedroom. The workspace will be moved to the bedroom, and a bed will be added.

Good accommodation with location about 15 minutes from the Danish/German border. Close to Sønderborg (13 km) and Gråsten (5 km). In the bedroom, there are duvets and pillows for 2 people. In the kitchen, there is a refrigerator, stove, oven, coffee maker and electric kettle. The home has underfloor heating. There is a toilet in the home and an outdoor shower with cold and hot water. There is also an indoor bathroom, which is next to the mini house. You are welcome to use the backyard.

It has been completely refurbished, and includes modern amenities, a fireplace and good quality Scandinavian country style furnishing (completed in May 2020). Stunning location, 40 meters from a private beach with direct access through the large south facing garden. Enjoy the sounds of the sea, birdsong and the nights sky in absolute privacy, with no neighbours or tourism to be seen!
