Great location in a trendy neighborhood, nicely appointed room and free parking! We will stay again when we're back

We enjoyed our stay immensely. Important things for me are, comfortable bed, good water pressure, clean and well stocked. The beds were comfortable, we had good water pressure, and the place was clean. We did not have coffee, but we survived -The beach access is nice, we enjoyed the screened porch and having a bed that faces the ocean with double doors that open made for a spectacular view. We would absolutely book this venue again. Enjoy your stay!!! RJ

The space had an excellent vibe and a cozy, homey feel. Host was so easy to work with. The unit is well equipped and every detail was anticipated- ice molds, comfy blankets for the porch, and interesting reading material. We’re already planning a future return trip!

No words can express how great this unit was or how friendly the hosts were. The river views especially at sunset were spectacular! The unit is brilliantly designed to optimize the space and we found it to be very comfortable for our extended stay. We are already counting the days down to our next visit.. We enjoyed our stay at this little piece of heaven. Very clean and modern decor. We had a snafu that was totally my fault, I locked us out of the house. George responded right away and came to our rescue. The night could have ended so much worse but thankfully we had a great host nearby. I highly recommend!!!

We loved our stay here! It’s the perfect size for two people and has everything you could need for a weekend stay. We appreciated the in-unit laundry, comfy linens and abundance of kitchen utensils. The location is very walkable to King St/downtown and there are many cute restaurants and cafes nearby, but having parking was definitely a plus. The host was proactive in making sure that we were checked in and taken care of, and the welcome gift was a thoughtful touch. The only downside is that you can hear everything on the street adjacent to the property, and noise from the unit above. But, there is a noise machine if you’re a light sleeper. Overall, I would definitely rebook this place the next time I’m in Charleston and highly recommend for couples/small groups visiting the area.

Absolutely fantastic stay. The house is located super close to downtown (Less than 10 minutes and a $8-15 uber ride) and only about a 15-min ride to Folly Beach. We had a girls trip and there was plenty of room. Their kitchen is fully stocked. Beautiful decorations, comfortable beds, beautiful views. Lots of privacy but the host responded promptly to every single message. Would absolutely recommend to anyone staying in Charleston.

Our place wasn't quite ready when we arrived, due to party being thrown without Ashley knowing. Ashley tried reaching out but didn't get message due to driving. She was extremely pleasant and apologized repeatedly! She recommended few close places to go until she had house cleaned, was personally there cleaning. After we checked in found out a TV wasn't working and she replaced it the next day. Ashley communicated every day to make sure we were having a great time and asked if we needed anything. Her house was beautiful and in a convenient location! Would stay again.

Very convenient to Charleston, Isle of Palms, Sullivan's Island, and Daniel Island. An easy drive to anywhere.

Perfect size for the traveling trips girls trip! Quiet neighborhood, easy access to beach and downtown Folly. Joshua was very responsive and accommodating. Would definitely rent again from him on another trip.

Perfect central location! The beach is only about 30-40 minutes south. The lake is only about 30 minutes north. Groceries are 10 minutes from the house. Fun things to do all over the place for sure! Its a quiet neighborhood far enough away from main road traffic to keep traffic noise down. You will hear the occasional train but who doesnt love trains! It's very quiet anyway. Everything about the home is comfortable and easy/convenient. A great place to stay.

Joe & Claire were great hosts, very personable. Stayed 5 nites in late April/early May. Beautiful location: decks on all levels/sides, sweeping views of marsh in back, high up views of ocean across street in front. Many perfect spots to sit depending on sun & wind. Great views of sunrise & sunset, lighthouse, etc. Furnishings comfortably accommodated gatherings for our family of 5 adults, tastefully decorated too. Kitchen well equipped, beach chairs/towels provided. Besides food/drink/personal items, can’t think of anything we wanted that wasn’t already there. We experienced one significant house utility issue that disrupted our stay, outside anyone’s control. Joe had it repaired and equitably resolved the impact to us. Location next best thing to beachfront, beach access just 100yd down road. Peacefully removed from busy central Folly Beach town area and just 5min ride to many casual restaurant/entertainment options there. Also easy 30min trip to Charleston for exploring and dinner.

It’s a beautiful, well appointed, clean and tastefully decorated home. The home is spacious with a great floor plan. We were 3 families. 6 adults and 5 children. The kids loved the pool. There were numerous pool toys to keep them entertained. The kitchen is a cook’s dream. Everything ( except a coffee grinder) was available. The long kitchen table easily accommodates 12. We enjoyed the porches. There are 3 but we did not use top balcony. ( that is where the fire pit is ) There are lots of steps, but the convenience of the elevator was wonderful. It was a great location as well. We had a lovely time.

Wow. This is an amazing place to stay in Charleston — truly a one-of-a-kind experience! This carriage house is remarkably well done, keeping all of its unique historic character while providing all the needed/desired modern amenities. The neighborhood is so charming, as is the meticulously-kept courtyard garden. We especially enjoyed our time at The Wonderer. It’s a bit of a drive, but it gave us all the hotel perks we could have wanted while allowing us to enjoy the benefits of our own private space. The owners were so helpful and accommodating, and we loved their guide to the city. We’d stay here again in a heartbeat!

We enjoyed our short stay and would definitely consider returning. We appreciate the cleanliness and the attention to detail that made our stay so enjoyable! This was our first pet friendly rental and we were pleasantly surprised by the lack of pet scent. The screened porch definitively heightens the experience of morning coffee and evening sunsets !

Our stay at The Charlee was amazing - a truly beautiful Airbnb! Our family of four fit very comfortably and honestly we could’ve fit another family in the unit with us. It was beautifully designed - every tiled shower was like out of a magazine. The living space is super open, comfortable, with lots of space to hang out and for the kids to play. We really enjoyed the large deck during our kids’ nap time - perfect for a charcuterie and wine! Our host was very responsive and helpful. We will absolutely be staying again at this Airbnb for our many trips to Charleston!

Enjoyed our stay in Mount Pleasant. Close to many good restaurants and shopping areas. Condo is set behind main road so no street noise - nice quiet area. Everything is well cared for and we were happy to call it our “home” for several weeks.
