Beachfront holiday rentals in Cumbria

We really enjoyed our stay In Cleveleys, the house is in a great spot, close to the beach and within reach of all of the amenities the town has to offer.

What can we say other than what a great find….. well that’s just the start, Deborah was a lovely host, the place was beautiful, spotless and very conveniently located for the beach, town and other local amenities. On top of that we could take our dog……

The location is what makes this place special. To the south of the Alnmouth estuary at the end of a private road in front of mud flats and dunes it is very peaceful. Only disturbance were occasional walkers on the coast path. Easy access to a glorious, enormous, empty beach that stretches for miles. To the North, 45 mins walk to Alnmouth. The barn feels bigger on the inside than it looks in the photos, perfect for our family of 4 and 2 dogs. There is a completely fenced in garden at the front so dogs were safe outside. House in very good decorative condition and communication with Simone was excellent

The house was very clean, comfortable and well located. The outdoor area an added bonus and great for the dogs. Iain was a great host and left good recommendations for local spots and activities. Would highly recommend if you’re looking to stay in Morecambe.

We had a fantastic trip, the accomodation was clean, comfortable and well equipped - meeting all of our needs. Having two shower rooms with shower cubicles was ideal, and there was enough space for the three of us and our hound. The hot tub was such a delight, we enjoyed the simple pleasure of floating around in the open air, watching the swallows dart around in the evening sky. No night-time stars for us on this occasion, but maybe next time. The summer house on the shore was a selling point from the listing photographs, and the views are even better than the photos show. Really comfortable furniture in there, we idled many hours in this cosy space with the tide coming and going. There's a beach to walk the dog along, and a pub a mere five minutes walk away that serves good value meals with excellent customer service (we enjoyed their seafood platter). I even brought my guitar along and joined with the Wednesday Jam Night. We had a delightful time, couldn't have expected any more.

The TV has Netflix and prime logged on as a bonus which I found a very kind gesture. Hot water and heating system is at its best The bed and bedding is comfortable and high quality off fixtures and fittings throughout the house. From hand and bath towels to toilet Rolls to Hand soap this is above expectations that most holiday accommodation offers The combination microwave was fantastic and even down to the automatic no touch bin. It was warm and homely. The garden is very secure and safe for dogs and even a hose pipe to wash down sandy dogs in garden. We will definitely book again. A credit to Andrew the host.

we had a fantastic few nights in flosh caravan. we only used it as a base whilst travelling so can't comment too much on the location however the accommodation was definitely suitable for our needs.

Loved our stay here it was so close to the prom/beach ..great old building with good size rooms .Also outside space which is rare with flats..slept well..lovely coffee in the swimming baths cafe 👍

Booked a little break at Linda's caravan on Airbnb. Kids absolutely loved the caravan. Linda was very responsive and helpful when needed. The weekend went far too quickly. Will 100% book again and would recommend to anyone.

We had a fantastic long weekend in the lodge. Absolutely stunning landscape and the lodge was beautiful. It had everything we needed and more! Thank you so much for a fantastic stay.

We had a lovely couple of days at the caravan, the view was lovely. We really enjoyed the sunset and also watching how far the tide went out. As well as watching the ferries come in and go out again. The beds were really comfortable and the heating was easy to use. Having the large grassed area just outside was lovely for the child to run about on but within view. I would recommend for a family and those wanting a step back from the hustle and bustle.

Amazing lodge in a perfect location. Had the best stay for my friends 30th birthday celebrations. Close to Ambleside and Windermere so great for day trips/lake cruises/etc. Would recommend.

Fab little stay in a lovely little caravan, kids and dogs had a blast. Caravan is a bit run down as described but still clean and we had a lovely time. Everything was so easy and we even got a late check out which we really appreciated. Thanks Malcolm

We loved our stay at Signal House. House is absolutely beautiful. It’s in such a lovely location with fantastic views along the coastline. Easy to walk into Amble or along coastal path in both directions. House amazing, spotlessly clean. We hope to come back some time. Thankyou Tracey for a great stay x

This place is very beautiful and my family and I liked it very much. The place is very clean and tidy and everything is available in it. We will go there again soon.

The lodge was fabulous, really enjoyed our stay. I even picked up a couple of decor ideas. Had a lovely time feeding the ducks, swans and other wildlife, very relaxing. Shops and amenities easy to get to by car, lovely restaurants around the area. Would absolutely recommend.

Tony’s place was perfect for our group. There was lots of parking for 5 motorbikes and plenty of room inside. We were able to do a load of laundry even. It was easy to walk to a restaurant for dinner and the area was nice and quiet. The night we arrived was cold but the house was nice and warm! Thanks for having us Tony, it was a great stay.

Patty’s Barn was a lovely stay for our family. Michelle was very friendly and helpful and we were made to feel very welcome. The place we stayed at was cosy and full of character, with great facilities for us to use on site.

Great location, for us a fantastic stopover on a long drive from Cornwall to Scotland. Super clean, lovely bedrooms. Hana was a very friendly and thoughtful host.

Lovely clean apartment exactly as described. The whole apartment felt spacious and was perfect for our family gathering. Nihal gave excellent instructions and finding the apartment and getting in was easy and hassle free.

Exquisite interior design that really added to the stay; hot tub was an absolute delight at the end of each day; location superb; enjoyed sitting at the rock pools watching dolphins - a true blessing; local amenities perfect; loved the proximity to the sea which meant I could have safe evening walks admiring the sunset and enjoying the peaceful sea views at night. Highly recommend. Thank you also Jen for the delicious scones, jam and cream!

Excellent all round, couldn't fault the accommodation and facilities. Top notch attention to detail. Ideal location, easy access to trams, buses etc. Easy walk into Cleveleys.

A fantastic flat in a great location- 100 yards from the Pleasure Beach and from the Tram stop, which made it so convenient, but in a quiet residential road. We parked our car on the drive (another real plus in Blackpool) and didn’t move it again as we went everywhere via tram. If you buy the Tram tickets on the app it is only £10 for two people for an all day ticket, meaning you can get on and off as often as you want. If we are ever back in Blackpool, we would stay here again. We can definitely recommend it.

We had a lovely few days and the apartment was lovely and thank you for the welcome pack as well. Deffo come back.Could do a mirror in the bedroom and the mattress was al little uncomfortable.
