Lovely comfortable, well equipped home. John and Dorothy were really friendly and welcoming hosts. nothing was too much trouble. Breakfasts were delicious.

Had a fantastic stay at Pondon Mill this weekend. We were made to feel so welcome, the breakfast was fantastic. We did establish our dog is scared of cats, but as Barbara suggested we just need to get one of our own to train him. We will definitely be returning. Amazing setting, lovely people. Fantastic place to stay with so much history. Thank you for having us!

We loved our stay at The Annex. Our host Julie met us on arrival and was very friendly. The property was beautifully laid out, had everything you’d need. Extra touches such as milk, bread and home made flapjacks (delicious 😊) were very much appreciated. Would love to return!

Our sentimental journey back to High Hoyland was spent in grand style at All Hallows. An unforgettable experience.

We were delighted with our stay at Rosie's. Rosie and Paul's helpfulness and hospitality was outstanding. The rooms where we stayed were so comfortable, spacious and clean and we had absolutely everything we could need. The meal we had at the local Italian was excellent as was Rosie's wonderful, generous breakfast. This was only a brief stay but I'd like to return and explore more of the area. Many thanks to Rosie and Paul.

Me and a group of friends stayed here over Easter and it was the most incredible place. Anton and Penny were so helpful and lovely. The complimentary breakfast and food at the pub was so delicious and the yurt was so cosy, clean and well put together. Would definitely come back to this Airbnb. Penrith was a 15 minute drive away and the village was very picturesque. Would recommend this place to anyone wanting a relaxing stay with some very helpful hosts

We had an absolutely wonderful stay with Sian who is a wonderful host! We thoroughly enjoyed chatting with her about shared interests and the local area as she showed us around the beautiful and immaculately presented house (which is even better than the photos). Our room was spotless and beautifully furnished. Location was ideal, on the edge of the stunning village of Grassington surrounded by countryside, walks, swims and plenty of other attractions well placed nearby. Lovely sheltered and private spot, excellent breakfasts to set you up for your days adventures! We love it here and can't wait to come back! Thank you Sian!

Stayed 4 days in Paul’s lovely cottage, just a short walk from Hawkshead village. The accommodations were as expected and Paul could not have been a more gracious host. He has a wealth of local knowledge and directed us on some beautiful walks. Breakfasts were fantastic! Would absolutely return in a heartbeat.

Stayed for three nights and was made to feel welcome from the minute I arrived. Met Bonnie and some staff and they were all lovely and friendly and helpful. The room was spotless and bathroom also. Perfect location in the heart of Windermere. If I ever go back again I’ll be staying with Bonnie again. Thank you for everything

Gary's place was a wonderful find - we were so fortunate that it was available for our dates. A perfect, easy base for collecting our daughter from Newcastle Uni. Gary was friendly, helpful and responsive, and it was a privilege to share his lovely, well-appointed home. The reclining sofas in the lounge were so comfy and the lovely choices for breakfast were spot-on for our tastes. One of the very nicest, friendliest Air BnBs we've stayed in. Highest of recommendations for Gary, Liz and Oscar!

Heather and Craig were very helpful and friendly, with great communication and local recommendations. Everything in the room was high quality and the location was fantastic for access both to the lake and town centre. The breakfast was delicious!

This was our final accommodation after our trip around Scotland and to say we left the best until last was an understatement. Marcus and Vienetta provide excellent accommodation, which is comfy and welcoming, but what they offer on top of this is an experience. Their lovely home is quirky and fun. They provide the right balance between giving their guests space and engaging. We would highly recommend a stay.

Diane was a very responsive host and an extremely lovely person. She and Ian were very helpful, the location of the BnB was excellent, the room was lovely and clean with a comfortable bed and nice hot shower. Diane’s cooking was also incredible, we enjoyed two very lovely breakfasts. We would absolutely stay again!

Thank you Sarah for my stay was so great to meet you. I had exactly what I needed a relaxing break away! I stayed two nights and did activity locally so this was perfect, day two I relaxed and had best bath and most amazing sleep in this huge bed. Not to mention how brilliant breakfast was… whole table set up just for me wow 5 star service :)

Lovely stay, hosts were so welcoming and friendly and allowed us a flexible check in to suit our plans. Home is gorgeous and well located in jesmond near the metro.

Excellent stay, the room was clean and comfortable with everything you need to stay over. The breakfast was delicious, and tea/coffee facilities in the room were a great touch. Check in was easy, with Tobias being very responsive and helpful with our last minute booking. Hot tub was a great place to relax as it got dark, and the room was lovely and cosy in the evening. Would definitely stay again!

Great stay with Tony and his cat Smudge. Peaceful and private, with helpful recommendations for local amenities. Loved his pottery so much I even bought a piece as a souvenir! Would recommend. Perfect location.

Jenny was a great host. Thoughtful and responsive. Great location for an easy walk into Hebden Bridge - right next to the canal towpath. Good public transport links too.

Julia is very friendly and easy to stay with - I also appreciated the use of the kitchen and other areas of your very tidy home. Very walkable location, close by to the Metro and also some local shops which are handy for food/anything you may need. I will not hesitate to book again if available and highly recommend to anyone needing somewhere to say locally if you are looking for a home away from home!

My two friends and I had a wonderful stay at Sara’s. Sara gave us a special Isaac’s Tea Trail package providing dinner as well as bed and breakfast. The meals were all delicious, and very appreciated as we were on foot and unable to drive to nearby pubs. The house and location is beautiful and we were greeted with tea, warm crumpets and a log fire - perfect after a long wet walk. The room was very comfortable and spacious. Sara is a fantastic warm host and so interesting to talk to. I’d highly recommend staying - you won’t want to leave though.

Our stay at Dominic and Elaine's home was nothing short of perfect. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with open arms by the kindest and friendliest hosts we’ve ever met. They truly went above and beyond with personal touches that made us feel right at home. Their attention to detail and thoughtfulness did not go unnoticed! The house itself is absolutely stunning—every corner beautifully designed and immaculately kept. We were constantly in awe of the space and comfort. But what truly made our stay memorable was the incredible breakfast they prepared. It was not only delicious but felt like it was made with such care and love. If you’re looking for a stay that feels both luxurious and warm, we cannot recommend Dominic and Elaine's place enough. We left feeling like we had made new friends, and we’ll definitely be back!
