Holiday rentals with a hot tub in Cumbria

We had a fantastic stay! The place was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and in a great location. Check-in was smooth, and communication with the host was easy and friendly throughout. Really good location for a family holiday. We had 6 adults and although 2 were in the ‘children’s’ bedroom they were comfortable and there was lots of space for us all. Outside spaces (places to sit or eat) in particular were lovely and the hot tub of course was fabulous. Really great easy location for Ambleside itself and getting quickly walking!

We’ve had a fantastic week at Jim and Jen’s cottage which is in a great location for walking the dog, Jim was a great host and recommended some lovely walks with amazing views, The cottage was cosy and felt like home from home and the welcome pack was lovely too

A Perfect Getaway! I stayed at this charming cottage and couldn’t be more pleased. The place was spotless, cozy, and beautifully decorated. Every little detail was thoughtfully arranged, from the well-equipped kitchen to the comfy beds. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and responsive, making the entire experience seamless. I highly recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a quiet, relaxing retreat — I’ll definitely be coming.

The cottage was the perfect place for our weekend away! The rooms were comfortable, the kitchen was very well equipped, and the garden was very spacious! We loved watching the neighbouring sheep in the sun room, and the hot tub was the perfect place to watch the pheasants and squirrels which visited the garden. The cottage was about an hours drive to the lakes, and the host was super friendly and recommended some lovely local walks and things to do in the village! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to come back!

The whole stay was perfect! Jessica was a great host, constant communication leading up to the stay with lots of recommendations on places to eat, things to do and lots more. The cottage was a perfect location, it was nice and private when in the garden and not a long drive from big attractions. We ended up going to Blackpool pleasure beach for the day which only took just over the hour, even in rush hour. We would definitely visit again and can’t recommend it enough! Thank you so much for such a lovely stay.

Amazing kitchen we both loved cooking in our tapas meal in it. It was great to have a selection of herbs and spices already in the kitchen. Everything clean and tidy . Wonderful place to stay and hope to come back soon :). Hope you have good clutch control getting out the drive way aha. Thank you for having us

Beautiful property, excellent location. Would love to have stayed longer. Would have preferred the garden to be more private and secure, but this didnt spoil our stay and we had a lovely time . Kitchen was well equipped and the property was bigger than it appeared on the photos!

Andrew and Virginie have created a perfect retreat with stunning views of Windermere and the rolling hills. great amenities and ideally located for a short walk into bowness. Virginie was super helpful with tips and advice. we would love to return again.

We stayed here with our two young children for two nights, and we had a great time. A nice, peaceful site, which helped us to relax. The lodge had everything we needed and we would definitely return. Great location within easy reach of the castles and beaches.

Truly an incredible place to stay at over the weekend. Very walkable but felt private. The views are stunning, the photo's do not do it justice. Nick was extremely accommodating and responsive and was very clear in all instructions. He even offered us a later check-out. Would definitely like to come back at some point as there's so much to do in and around the house. You will not be disappointed by staying at this place - it's the best booking I've ever made on this app. Thanks again Nick!

We had a great stay. The house was in a beautiful location, right on the estuary. Plenty of beach for walking. Beds were comfy and ample linen and towels were provided plus a great welcome hamper. The games room provided hours of entertainment and the hot tub was lovely for relaxing in after a busy day. The nearby rock park/quarry was a really interesting day out. We also enjoyed a meal out at the King William IV in Kirksanton. Jenny was a great host and was extremely welcoming and helpful. Would definitely recommend.

Stunning location, spotless property, and an unforgettable weekend. We stayed at Turner House for my stag weekend and couldn't have asked for a better spot. The house was immaculate on arrival—clean, spacious, and really well looked after. Every guest made good use of the amazing amenities: the games room was a hit, the hot tub and sauna were perfect for unwinding, and the outdoor areas gave us space to chill out or explore. The views over the River Lune were stunning from almost every room, and the peaceful setting made the whole weekend feel like a proper escape. Plenty of parking, great layout, and loads of thoughtful touches. Would 100% return—brilliant for groups who want comfort, a bit of luxury, and somewhere memorable.

This is a wonderful house for a large family gathering or group holiday. Stunning views over Morecambe Bay. Every need has been anticipated. Great selection of games and activities for all age groups. Jim is very communicative and helpful. I would highly recommend it and hope to go back for a longer stay.

Just had an amazing stay at Torrey Pines. Kris is a great host communication really good. Loved the position and lodge. Everything we needed. Have already booked again with Kris for next year disappointed we couldn’t get the same lodge but confident the lodge we have booked will be just as excellent !

Booked for a little friend reunion. Self check in was nice and simple. The house was great, perfect for what we needed. Needed some specific things for our stay and Ben and Jo were so helpful! We all couldn’t recommend it enough. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Absolutely loved our stay here. It’s out the way, quiet, peaceful and perfect place to reset. The communication was fabulous, the owner was wonder was kind, friendly and accommodating. Love the fact it’s on a dairy farm! Would definitely go back!

Brilliant stay! Accommodation was perfect, pristine, had everything you need. The hot tub was amazing, lots of games and books available to use. The prosecco and chocolate provided on arrival was a nice touch :) Modern tech was great! Was able to login to our Netflix, prime etc. blue tooth speakers were fab too! Mark was very welcoming, informative and responsive! Leisure centre was good - kids loved the pool! Even had a dip in the lake and played in the sand. Pub food was excellent but doesn’t serve food everyday, so check and book! We would love to come again!!

We had a fantastic stay. Very relaxing and clean! If I was being really picky, it could use a couple more sets of cutlery/plates and pots and pans. But as a 4 person booking, we managed!

Thank you for such a lovely stay. The whole family are so welcoming & made us feel at ease from the outset. Angela could not have provided more from the thoughtful welcome pack right through to dressing gowns & slippers. The hot tub was amazing & loved by my daughter, she also wanted me to say how much she loved the bed (very comfortable). The lodge & bedroom with bathroom were fully equipped & spotless. It was a pleasure to meet the whole family including the dogs who were so friendly with an added bonus for my daughter who got to play with Angela’s granddaughter. There was nothing more we could have wanted during our stay from the accommodation through to the surroundings. Thank you again we will be back x

We had a lovely stay in this beautiful lodge. The view from the living room was absolutely stunning, we couldn’t get enough of it. Everything was clean, comfortable, and well looked after. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay! As a couple and large dog, we felt very secure and relaxed. The wood fired hot tub was fantastic, and the edition’s sauna was a fantastic bonus. Lots of great walking routes within a short drive away, too. The finishing touches like the welcome paper a guidebook show real care and consideration for their guests. We’d love to come back!
