Our beautiful shepherd's hut sits in four acres of secluded woodland in rural Hexhamshire. Enjoy the peaceful solitude, with glimpsed views through the mature oaks onto the North Pennines. Surrounded by miles of footpaths, bridleways and moorland, there are walking, cycling and riding options in every direction. Nearby rural pubs offer delicious local ales and fantastic food; or try some home raised, rare breed pork over the firepit grill, then a drink on the raised deck in the evening sun.

One of two shepherd's huts located on our traditional working hill farm in the stunning Wasdale valley. The huts have everything you need to enjoy your stay in this beautiful part of the world. Wastwater shepherd's hut comes complete with a double bed, kitchen area with induction hob and a bathroom with shower. Perfect place to start numerous walks from the doorstep including many of the popular Wainwright hills such as Scafell Pike and Illgill Head. Easy access to the lake for kayaking etc.

The Barn, Mosser - For 2 adults and 1 child.
The Barn is a beautifully refurbished retreat in a quiet corner of the Lake District National Park. Built in c.1870 as part of How Farm, The Barn is a very comfortable self-contained space which sleeps two adults and two children. It has a small garden, unique open living space incorporating the kitchen and lounge, lobby, shower room and large bedroom. The Barn is in a countryside location yet gives easy access to all the North West Lakes and the lesser known but very scenic West Coast.

A traditional barn, set on the slopes of Whernside, in the Yorkshire Dales National Park, this truly is a secluded spot. Located at the end of a narrow track, it is enveloped by woodland, fields and streams. The open plan, rustic style suits couples, small groups and some families, and is ideal as a base for outdoor activities. A peaceful dog-friendly rural retreat with walks on your doorstep, exclusive use of the garden, charcoal BBQ, pizza oven, and a wood-fired hot tub to relax in.

The Old Potting Shed is a romantic hideaway for two set in the walled garden of the owners' house with its own private entrance. The retreat is totally secluded, but still just a minutes walk to Sedbergh's lovely pubs and cafes. It's the perfect base: head out walking in the hills straight from your door or use our electric bikes to explore the quiet lanes. When you get back, soak in the wood fired hot tub and enjoy a drink on the terrace while admiring the wonderful view of the fells.

The Chicken Shed at Knowle Top was newly built in 2019 on the ruins of an old barn and decorated to the highest standards of industrial chic. Situated in a most unique location, high on the Ribble Valley side of Lancashire’s iconic Pendle Hill, it sits surrounded by sheep pastures where hare and fox come to say good-night. Despite this rural idyll, we’re only a five minute car drive from Clitheroe, one of the North-West’s nicest market towns. The views will take your breath away!

Tahn is the smallest of our luxury camping pods, with it's own kitchen and shower room, it sleeps two adults with a travel cot available for one infant. An ideal woodland base for lovers of the great outdoors Just 4 miles south of Kendal, on the edge of the Lake District National Park, and on the Bay Cycleway. Sizergh Castle, Levens Hall and other amenities are close by. Local walks and easy access by car to the Lake District, Yorkshire Dales and the Silverdale and Arnside AONB.

Our cedarwood lodge has been designed and built for our family and friends to use when they visit. It is in a rural setting about 4 miles outside the market town of Cockermouth but is actually located in the Lake District National Park with stunning views over the fells, Binsey, Skiddaw, Bassenthwaite Lake and Keswick. The lodge has been designed to make the most of those idyllic views and is a retreat for anyone wanting to relax, unwind and enjoy our “world Heritage” status.
