Peaceful family house, recommended for families especially.

It's a very cozy house. We enjoyed our stay. The sauna can fit 2/3 people comfortably, but more than that is too tight. The location is great, it's at the same time private and also close to grocery stores, the beach, and coffee shops.

We had a great stay at this summerhouse! The pool and all the other amenities – including sauna, outdoor areas and kitchen – were really high quality and everything worked impeccably. The atmosphere and setting were perfect for a cozy and relaxed getaway with friends. The only small minus was that you had to bring gas to the grill yourself, which came as a surprise to all of us. It would be nice if it was mentioned more clearly in the description. All in all, a wonderful experience – we would love to come again!

We spent a wonderful week at Bryans place with our three kids, who just learned or were abour to learn how to swim. Because the large pool was heated we couldnt get them out of the water, it was amazing. Since the garden had big hedges all around and a sunny terrasse it was just the perfect place to relax and feel comfortable. The house itfelf is gorgeous, since it is actually someones home it is lovely decorated and especially the kitchen misses nothing, which really sets it apart from "tourist only" places. Bryan was always extremely friendly, answered every question and made everything very easy and smooth. Veddelev itself is very nice and quiet, you can walk to a little beach with a pier, the water there is clean and shallow at first, which is again, very kids-friendly. All in all we had a great holiday and hope to visit again soon.

We were there with the family and had a very good time. The pool was bigger than expected and the garden is great. Everything was the same as the photos. The garden has grown in nicely, so you don't notice anything from the neighbors. The amenities were very good. Beautiful beaches can be reached in 10 minutes by car. The nearby village of Asnæs is quite small, but there are 2 supermarkets and a good bakery, so you get everything essential.

We were 2 adults and 2 small children on an extended weekend. Beautiful little cottage with the most beautiful garden! Plenty of room for ball games, badminton and hide and seek. Beautiful pool and trampoline were the icing on the cake. Nice amenities, neat and clean. Jeanne was quick to respond to questions. We'd love to come back another time!

A great place to stay with everything you need

We stayed at Rikke and Andreas' place for 1 week. The house is situated in a quiet residential area in Sorø. The location is very central and therefore many things were super accessible. It was superbly equipped. In the kitchen, for example, nothing was missing. There were also a lot of toys available (our son was thrilled) The highlight was of course the heated pool & jacuzzi. Together with a grill and some outdoor toys, the perfect mix for everyone. The beds were also very comfortable. In the master bedroom even with box spring bed and children's room with high bed. Communication was also great. Rikke & Andreas responded very promptly. All in all, we highly recommend the accommodation! We will be happy to come back :)

Super nice cottage! Bjarke was a great host – very welcoming and quick to respond. The weather was unfortunately not with us this time, but the house had everything we needed and we will definitely come back another time to enjoy the garden and the terrace in the sunshine!

Super nice summerhouse which has everything you need to spend some relaxing summer days: cosy beds, everything to cook, a lovely terrace and garden with outdoor seating, the sea to both sides very close. The house is bright and welcoming. We enjoyed our stay a lot.

We enjoyed staying at Mette and Mads' beautiful summer house very much. The house is super cozy, the kitchen is well equipped and perfect for cooking and baking. The kids found the many toys perfect and the beach only 5 minutes away. For us, the perfect location to have a great time as a family. We'll be back for sure!

It’s a lovely, cosy, clean holiday cottage. We enjoyed our stay very much and felt very comfortable.

Very nice and peaceful place . Fully equipped house , great location and garden. Perfect for s group of friends or family. The bbq made our stay so much better. The only thing that would make a future stay better is the existence of bedsheets so that we won’t have to bring our own. Other than that the place is totally worth it and fully recommendable. Michael and Ditte have also been very helpful and responsive.

We loved the cute cottage! It felt like traveling in the past to a simpler time, but with modern amenities and very comfortable beds :) Stine was so welcoming from the complimentary drinks/snacks to the fresh flowers. My children loved the hammock swing in the yard. The games and children’s toys were fun too! It was perfectly hygge for our family of 5. We would definitely stay again!

Nice stay - we were 3 people and a small dog. The house was cozy - the garden nice, sunny and private. We enjoyed good walks in the area and being surrounded by nature, wildlife and close to the beach. Good farm shops and small towns in the area.

Great house, exactly what you’d expect from the pictures and descriptions. Beautiful back yard and plenty of space. We stayed for a weekend and the house has everything you need. Our three kids were also very happy with the toy options and backyard activities :) The communication was great as well. I overlooked part of the description of the house but they were super friendly and forthcoming. The area around the house also offers plenty of things to do, so overall we can only recommend to stay here!

The house is in a great location in walking distance to beach bathing jetty, Ordrupnæs, grocery store and restaurants. The view from the lovely terrace is outstanding. The house has 2 small bedrooms a children's room with loft, a small bath and large bright open living room and kitchen. We enjoyed the beautiful view very much and were warmly received by Gerda.

Simon's house is wonderfully located and you have fantastic views of the bay. We were there with our dog over New Year's Eve and had a relaxing New Year's Eve. In the house is everything you need, a well-equipped kitchen, a cozy sofa and a large table where you can sit together extensively to eat, play or just look at the water. We felt very comfortable and were able to relax well. It is wonderfully quiet there and you can relax. In about 10 minutes, you will be by the water and can enjoy nature. It is highly recommended. We will miss the time there very much.

We stayed at Andreas‘ & Kristina's beautiful house for 8 nights over New Year's Eve. We were 4 adults, one baby and one dog. When we arrived, we felt right at home and everything is very very hyggelig. Communication was great and hassle-free. The house really can't be beat in terms of coziness and we can imagine being there even in the summer:-) The kitchen is super well equipped, there is everything you need - and more! The surroundings are also beautiful - once there was even a deer in the garden. You only have 5 minutes to the sea, but you are in the middle of a forest. The towns of Nykøbing, Holbæk and Roskilde are also definitely worth a visit. Roskilde was the most beautiful. Great city and great fjord. Copenhagen was a little too far for us with a 1:15hour drive with dog and baby. But also doable. I would definitely highly recommend the house to anyone who has the chance to vacation here - whether summer or winter!:-)

Lovely area and lovely house overlooking the water. Lovely wooden terrace. Two nice bathrooms. Good room distribution. Nice trips in the area, including Ordrup Næs and trip around Vejrhøj and Dragsholm Castle.

We were so so happy with Nanna and Søren‘s incredible house! We loved the spacious living room and the lovely hand-selected vintage furniture in every room. Even though it was cold we loved sitting at the porch or in the greenhouse in front of the garden watching the stars. We felt really at home. The surroundings were beautiful, offering perfect locations for great walks at the beach. But really, we didn‘t want to leave the house, haha! Definitely coming back in the summer! :)

The summer house is a great place to stay, views are fantastic with wonderful sunsets would recommend this if looking for fantastic place to go and relax and enjoy the views, Host is very responsive to all questions had a great stay during our time here
