We stayed a week in March in this cottage and very satisfied. Within walking distance, you can reach the dike and the North Sea after a short walk. There were many playgrounds for children and we saw some guests with dogs (dog meadow). The check-in was easily done outside of the opening hours via a key box. Otherwise, the very friendly staff were available at the service office of DanCenter. The place was clean and well appointed. We lit the fireplace and relaxed in the sauna incl. Hot tub. Despite rain weather, we had such a nice stay in Otterndorf and would be happy to come back.

Christian's place is great! Christian is very nice and always immediately available. We were so many people and yet it worked out great with the bedroom layout, showers and dining room. It's not self-evident. Everything you need. You can also grill in the cozy garden. We have many walks with the dog and even saw a pheasant! Nature right behind the house!!!!! 500m away you will find the baker and fresh eggs are available from the neighbor next door! The location is ideal for driving to either the North Sea or the Baltic Sea in an hour. We will be happy to come back. Thank you for the wonderful time with you!

Review text: We had a really nice time staying at the place! Everything was super clean, cozily furnished and exactly as stated in the description. We particularly appreciated the quiet location and the comfortable bed – we slept wonderfully. The kitchen was also well equipped, so we could easily self-cater. The contact with the host was friendly, quick and straightforward. You can tell they're working with heart and mind. We felt very comfortable and would come back anytime. Absolutely recommended! Very nice area not far lake and sea.

The small holiday home is idyllically located in the holiday village directly on the Elbdeich on an orchard. It is quite and yet there are many recreational opportunities. For kids there is a playground in the holiday village. There's also a bike rental and a mini golf course. Pötte kieken on the dike, on the Elbe beach or the relatively nearby ferry dock is wonderful. In the house you will find everything you need and also has enough space. Questions were always answered quickly and there were good tips on where to park, for example. Even books and board games for rainy days or evenings were there. You can go on trips to Stade, Jork, Buxtehude or Cuxhaven.

The cute cottage delivers everything it promises! The great garden with terrace, fireplace and the feathered roommates is the best condition for social evenings and a quiet break. Thank you Selma for your warm welcome and uncomplicated handling! Everything is great, gladly recommended.

A special place to stay! The house is beautiful and modern, with many technological gadgets that make the stay extra comfortable. The pool and trampoline are absolutely gold for children and adults alike. Inga, the friendly host, is very helpful and always ready to answer questions, even after an extensive tour. It is also nice to know that she is staying on the same property, only 25 meters away, which offers extra reassurance. Please note that (during the period we stayed here) there were a lot of mosquitoes and wasps. The house is of course located directly on the forest. This is good to know for future guests. All in all a great experience and a place I would definitely recommend for 2 adults with kids!

Vivien was just great, extremely friendly and straightforward. Communication was also very good. The villa has everything you need, and you feel right at home. I'd love to come back.

Very nice and likeable hostess, good location and very nice large house

This place was perfect for us, as a family gathering in Hamburg, where we could spend time in the garden and dinner table, rather than have to use a restaurant. If that's what you're looking for, I can recommend this: it's not the cheapest property, but if you have 6+ guests, you can make up for that by cooking and eating in. and the house is in a nice, quiet area of Bergedorf. Vivian was easy to communicate with. The house was clean and matched the description. There is a first floor bedroom and bathroom suitable for elderly guests, and plenty of room upstairs to spread out. The kitchen had supplies (e.g. cooking herbs and spices) ready for us. There's a dining room table large enough for eight guests. The garden is peaceful and has seating for everyone. Yes, it's a lived-in home, which means there are a few minor inconveniences. Minor -- imagine you rented out your own home, there would be quirks that you've learned to live with. Same here. Overall, Vivian keeps a great property.

Unfortunately, the pool was blocked for hygiene for most of the holiday. Everything else was really great.
