Historically Gilleleje is an old fishing village and it was here that many Jews were transported to Sweden during World War II. Gilleleje Church was a waiting place for Jews until they could be transported. In 1943, 75 Jews were caught by the Gestapo on the church ceiling after a snitch had informed the Germans. Everywhere there are monuments of historical events. Every year there are various festivals in Gilleleje - "Hill" Festival, Harbour Festival, Jazz at the port and The Herring Day. From the door or the garden you can hear and smell the sea and at the beach you can enjoy the evening sun. Living room, kitchen and bathroom have underfloor heating. There is a cozy sofa and a well-equipped kitchen. Two rooms on the 1st floor with four beds and space for 2-3 extra beds. The area offers two harbors with art, cafes and shops, tennis and paddle courts, as well as surfing in Lynæs. Tothaven and Kik Forbi are within walking distance. Pets not allowed

Combined living room/kitchen, entrance and small bathroom with shower. There is private guest parking and bicycles available. Close to lovely Kattegat with access to the beach from the landowners' association beach. NOTE: due to dog allergy, no pets. Sorry.

There are also charging stations if you come by electric car. Definitely a home to experience.

Recharge your batteries in this beautiful cottage, located in idyllic surroundings at the end of a cul-de-sac. The ducks come to visit the scenic garden and with a lovely terrace and only 2 km to the beach, there is a good setting for outdoor life. The house is not far from Liseleje with the beautiful beach, Melby and Hundested harbor, which allows you to experience good food, art and fishing for crabs. Note: Guests must bring linen and towels. For an additional fee, a linen package can be rented.

Relax on the terrasse in the garden, walk in the woods or to Gershøj beach. Go biking on the “fjordsti” which follows Roskilde and Ise fjord, just 1.5 km from the house. Bikes can be borrowed here for free. In winter, you can make a fire. Breakfast and dinner can be arranged upon request and against fees.
