Everywhere there are monuments of historical events. Every year there are various festivals in Gilleleje - "Hill" Festival, Harbour Festival, Jazz at the port and The Herring Day. Arresø ligger 5 minutters gang fra sommerhuset og 10 minutter væk ligger restaurant Tinggården. Området er præget af natur og sommerhuse og skønne strande i cykelafstand.
